Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

I think I know what you mean, but I'm not real good with these ablatives yet. can you make/link an example?
"any problem can be solved with a gratuitous enough use of high explosives" Normandy
The ablatives and colors are horrid. Seriously. Using straight blue and red aegis at once?
Red reactor? How can I fix the ablatives?
Yes red reactor and you got the same damn piece tiled all around the edge of the hull for several layers. For one you don't need to cover your ship in ablatives. It just looks god damn ugly. Secondly you shouldn't use the same piece unless you're only covering small spots.
Just curious, but is there a reason the engines are so bright? In my very humble opinion, it's kinda glaring compared to the darkness of the ship.
"Okay. I'm gonna get your money for ya. But if you don't get the President of the United States on that phone, you know what's gonna happen to you?"
"What?!"
"You're gonna have to answer to the Coca Cola company."

They are engines so I'd expect them to be but they look bad too. Especially with those thrusters sitting and standing out, right in the middle of the glow.

I agree but he probably used several aegis on one section, perhaps to cover the area underneth?
oh i like it! just be sure not to do super layers of ablatives on the front section, and actually leaving the gap inbetween the layers on the nose would look cool....
I must say, I'm impressed... Nice colours, nice hull... A bit too many aegis maybe, but then again, I think it's mostly because of the strange placement for now, which is temporary I'm sure.
