Deep within galaxy 36694 lies a particular system. This system is home to over thirty billion hardworking individuals, each striving forwards in their lives for the glory of their government, the Unification. The central planet, that which houses approximately 10 billion of the people is the capitol world of Keldor. The other three planets are nothing to laugh at either for each provides essential resources; Yelsh giving fourth food, Riven providing energy and Heath giving home the the best climate controlled training grounds in the Unification. Nor is the fifth planet, Iness, housing only five hundred million but home to the center of Unification Shipyards Corp.
This system is one of hundreds in the control of the vast Keldorian Union, which has exploded outwards in a veritable orgy of colonization and militarization in the past four hundred years. Ruled from Keldor by the Oligarchy of Five, who live in the central Conglomerate, housed in the hollowed out core of the planet, the Union is a tight knit quilt. Only vast energy plantations and black hole technology are able to produce the heat necessary to keep Keldor alive, though through the hollowing of their home world, they have achieved a safe have, protected from even the most potent planetary bombardment.
Before the Oligarchy of Five, there was a Communistic organization which ruled over the home system, called the Neo Insurrection, who had in turn wrest control from the Federation of United Worlds. Both of those before the Oligarchy lasted all of two hundred years, and the continued success of the current Oligarchy show good portents of the future. Enough of the leadership, though. Onto the meat of the matter.
Each system colonized by the Unification efforts had at least one Shipyard, a place from which the Naval forces may continue operations from. Some important systems, such as the Keldorian home system of Saj, have entire planets devoted to ship production and system maintenance, hollowed out from within, leaving the surface a barren wasteland bereft of atmosphere, with the inside home to the inhabiting Keldorians, kept in comfort by massive energy and heat generators, eternally toiling away in creation of starships.. Fleets patrol the stars with their astounding Faster Than Light drives, and Stardocks the size of cities float benevolently above planets, along with defensive satellites.
But as the Union expands, it encounters more and more resistance be races and species unwilling to join them, and so the Keldorians make war, again and again. Who can say how long the Union will last, under such campaigns terrible enough to rip the stars themselves in twain?
The following is an ideal list of the forces and Naval assets an average Keldorian controlled system of 3-5 billion people would have:
• 2 Caligula-Class Heavy Battleships
• 3 Malice-Class Light Battleships
• 6 Halcidon-Class Heavy Carriers
• 12 Yemmen-Class Light Carriers
• 15 Askance-Class Cruisers
• 15 Dimitri-Class Frigate
• 18 Deviant-Class Frigates
• 25 Luster-Class Escorts
• 25 Whimsy-Class Escorts
• 60 Cossack-Class Heavy Fighters (20 Squadrons of Three)
• 150 Tibia-Class Light Fighters (30 Squadrons of Five)
• 1 Ofton-Class Shipyard
• 2 Beneficent-Class Orbital Fortresses
• 5 Despondence-Class Shipyards
• Avenger-Class Defense Platforms (4 Per Inhabited Planet)
• Generous-Class Defense Platforms (5 Per Inhabited Planet)
Please note that this list is for an ideal system, due to recent increase in campaign activity, most systems are reduces to sixty percent of available ships, though defensive platforms and shipyards remain constant. Also note that systems of lesser importance or population will have lower garrisons. And now, the links.
The Ships:

Tibia
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... ighter.shp

The Keldorian’s main Naval scouting craft is the Tibia-Class Light Fighter. With only two Light Magna-Blasters, it has the least armaments of any ship in the fleets, and has only minor armor segments. However, it is lightning-fast, and has an astounding turn rate. The two Light Magna-Blasters are also on fast-tracking mounts, making them able to keep targets in their line of fire for as long as possible. Normal squadron size is four to six Tibia’s, with a Yemmen-Class Light Carrier as transport, lacking as they are in Faster-Than-Light drives.
Cossack
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... ighter.shp

Fast and maneuverable, and packing an arsenal of rapid-fire close range weapons, the Cossack-Class Heavy Fighter is the mainstay of the Keldorian fighter cadre. It has several armored segments on the outer edges to give it durability, and has a single Light Shield Emitter for protection. Usually flying in hunter packs of three, the Cossack can be deadly to larger, less maneuverable ships.
Luster-Class Escort
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... Escort.shp

Traveling in packs of two, Luster-Class Escorts are almost never encountered alone. If without a larger ship to guard, they patrol in combat pairs with another Luster or Whimsy Escort. Faster and more responsive than Frigates, Luster Escorts feature the signature blocky outer armor common in Keldorian Unification ships, with inner facing plates to block shots aimed at the core. Two light Shield Emitters and two Particle Guns provide defensive cover, with its offensive weaponry made up of two Heavy Plasma Repeaters, two enhanced barreled Light Magna-Blasters and two Light Pulse-Cannons allowing it to hold off small groups of enemy fighter craft. This array of weaponry also allows it to put up a screen of firepower, making it hard to miss.
Whimsy
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... Escort.shp

The Keldorian’s second Escort, the Whimsy, is a modified Luster-Class chassis which forgoes some of the outer armor to increase the strength of the forward, inner armor protecting the core. It is usually seen in pairs with another Whimsy or a Luster Escort.. Keeping the two Particle Guns, one Light Shield Emitter, and adding on two Light Point Defense Lasers, the Whimsy is better protected from enemy fire. It keeps the two Heavy Plasma Repeaters, relocating them to the reinforced frontal armor, while dropping the Light Magna-Blasters and Light Pulse-Cannons in favor of a Light Star Cannon, which is able to pepper ships hulls with small, deadly projectiles.
Dimitri
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... rigate.shp

The Dimitri is a medium Frigate, Heavily armed with a Magna-Blaster, two forwards facing Plasma Thrifters and two rear mounted Light Plasma Repeaters. It is fairly fast, capable of respectable top speeds and turn rates. It’s rear is only lightly armored, but the rest of the ship has several sections of armored plating, along with two Medium Shield Emitter and four Particle Guns for clearing enemy fire. It is used mainly in Battlegroups, but is also considered suitable escort for VIP’s or important cargo ships.
Deviant
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... rigate.shp

The sister ship of the Dimitri, the Deviant-Class Frigate is another mass produced light warship. But whereas the Dimitri is meant to be a jack of all trades, with several types of weaponry to take on any threat, the Deviant is markedly specialized. Its defenses are comprised of two Particle Guns, a Light Shield Emitter and two Light Impeder Modules, which provide more than adequate protection. Its offense is just as good; two Light Beam Lances, able to punch through multiple layers of armor with a single shot. These forwards mounted weapons maximize on damage, with the drawback of power consumption. With the energy needed to power them and its defenses, there are no other weapons, leaving its flanks and rear susceptible to faster, more maneuverable craft. To counter this, Deviants are usually supported by a wing of Cossacks or Tibias.
Yemmen
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... arrier.shp

The Yemmen is one of the Keldorian’s more successful Carrier designs. It has many armored plates protecting the inner shell, where the Hazard Drone Bays are located. Two Alkatraz Drone Launchers adorn the outer layer, allowing for swift response to enemy ship movements. The central ship core is protected by a large armored plate, around which sit five Medium Shield Emitters. The outer plates contain the ship’s limited weaponry; six Light Magna-Blasters, eight Light Magna Pulse-Cannons and several Particle and Flack guns for shot interception. The Yemmen is also capable of carrying up to two full Squadrons of Tibia Light Fighters or Cossack Heavy Fighters.
Caligula
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... leship.shp

A fearsome construction of metal, the Caligula is one of the mightiest ships created in the massive fabrication bays of the Unification Shipyards Corporation. Its prow has two layers of ablative plating, of which the second is reinforces with Aegis shielding every other plate. Many sections have ablative plating on the outer edges, and the dual Heavy Shield Emitter arrays provide on-the-spot protection from fire coming from the flanks. The weapons are numerous. Each side holds four Heavy Beam Cannons, two Heavy Beam Lances, three Hellstorm Pulse-Terminators, two Star Cannons, and two Combi-Magna Blasters and five Light Beam Lances. Also on each side are a single Mark VI Optima Laser, an enhanced Alkatraz Drone Launcher, and a Magmatic Pyroclasm Lance. Two Valkeri Repair Modules anoint the central section, allowing for in-battle repairs. Twenty Point Defense Lasers and six Impeder Modules provide deflection of enemy projectiles. Finally, resting in the central line of the hull on a reinforced platform lies an Alkapown Shield Breaker. This impressive feat of weaponry fires a fast projectile capable of destroying incoming projectiles along its flight path, and capable of withstanding several hits from defenses other than Point Defense Lasers. Lastly, the projectile itself is so powerful, it can punch through almost any ship section, even when protected by shielding. Truly, such a weapon deserves the title of Primary Armament.
Schizophrenia-Class Dreadnaught
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... nought.shp

A new advent of Keldorian engineering, the Schizophrenia is one of the few classes of Heavy Battleships and Dreadnaughts used be the Keldorian Naval Forces. Equipped with a battlestation’s worth of defensive and offensive weaponry, the structure of the ship is made of super-dense compounds, and is layered repeatedly, making it hard to knock out significant portions of the ship in a short time. Unfortunately, the means of capture was through neutering of all of the weaponry with Optima Lasers, rendering all other technology lost. However, the weaponry it has is more than adequate, as is the defense mechanism keeping the core safe, being comprised of eight layers of Aegis Shielding that must be overpowered or their generators destroyed bofor and frontal attack can be expected to succeed.
Despondence
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... ipyard.shp

A staple of Keldorian space defense forces, the Despondence-Class Shipyard is a top-of-the-line perimeter restock & repair docking facility. Over a dozen of them are used on most class-6 planets, and more than fifty can be found in a largely inhabited system. It’s offensive systems leave much to be desired; six Hazard Drone Bays and four Light Beam Lances. However, the Despondence is noted more for its supporting role in battle, the two Platform Fabricators situated close to the core of the station allows it to create defensive stations in the midst of a battle, tipping the tide in the favor of the Keldorians. Also in the defensive employ are four Gabriel Repair Modules, even more useful than the Valkeri modules found on large warships. Two Gravity Warper modules sit on the outer levels, able to move the deployed platforms into better positions, or keep enemy ships in place. Finally, eight particle guns, two impeder modules and five Heavy Shield Emitters provide defense for the shipyard itself.
Avenger
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... atform.shp

Providing light support to battles in space and above planets, the Avenger-Class Defense Platform performs almost flawlessly. It is based loosely on the chassis of the Despondence Shipyard. Equipped with four Heavy Shield Emitters and eight particle guns, it is able to stave off the efforts of several fighter wings, and can more than hold its own against even light carriers or frigates. Its armaments feature heavily the weapons found on battleships, including two Heavy Beam Lances and two Heavy Beam Cannons, with a center-mounted Combi-Magna Blaster. It’s lesser offensive powers are four Magna Pulse-Cannons. When encountered in groups, the combined weaponry is enough to overcome even a Light Battleship.
Generous
http://www.wyrdysm.com/battleshipsforev ... atform.shp

Sister to the Avenger, the Generous-Class Defense Platform shares the same chassis as the Avenger. The only difference between the two is the weapon loadout; the Generous replaces the Magna Pulse-Cannons with Plasma Thrifters, and adds four Hazard Drone Bays. The Heavy Beam Cannons remain, but the Heavy Beam Lances are replaced by a battery of five Light Magna-Blasters each. This arrangement allows the Generous to handle masses enemy formations much more effectively than her sister, which is why Generous Defense Platforms usually outnumber Avengers.
