1. Except it tends to be random. I just go with whatever takes me till something stands out.

I find 2 gives the best results, most of the time. 1 has a tendancy to get haphazard and random, 3 is a bit more organized but I like the understructure 2 has.

2 for the larger ships. 1 for the smaller. They're too small to have a substructure.

Doing asymetrical ships most the time, I would say 2 fits the most for me.

The vast majority of my ship are built with #1, but I also do #3 sometimes.
Voted for 1.

i do substructures, but usually end up removing most of that near completion.

#1, used #2 for one ship. I never have any idea of the final shape until the end, just build what looks good.

1.
I think of the basic shape I want first of course.
Usually.
Though I'm thinking about trying 2 eventually.
Don't you have stuff to do?
Ya know. The important things.

I generally use 1. I sometimes have a shape in mind but I most of the time don't. I have used 2. for a few ships though.
I'm like a mixture between Water_and_Wind and Nutcase lol

Usually 1. For some of my recent-ish ships I've done 2. Basically never done 3.
