Nanz Battlestation - Naraku no Hana

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Just playing around with rotation and crap. It's a wonderful world.

TBE's Jaw just hit the floor due to shear animated awesomeness.

This reminds me of The Legion by Ixranin, which was made of Highly Concentrated Awesomeness.

Wonderful use of effects and rotation. Great shape, details, sense of depth, color, even weapon choice and placement... everything. Basically, its perfect.

The rotating ring is a bit wonky, though, and there are depth errors.

Suggestion - make the whole thing (static parts) slowly counter-rotate.

Please play around with rotation and crap more often.

It's spectacular, great use of everything. As Kae said your rotation is wonky, the CW spinning circle slowly moves downwards (look at the gif long enough and you'll see it spring back up).

Very, very, very nice. Best station I've seen. One minor nitpick: the three points are not evenly spaced. The leftmost gap is larger than the others. I'm thinking this is probably intentional, judging from the different appearance of the thruster assembly thing, but I would suggest making the asymmetry a touch more pronounced.

Truely amazing!
However, I think I see some layering errors. :?
There are 4 particle guns surrounding the center of the station that do not have the orange section under them like the rest of the particle guns do. Its nothing big, I just thought I let you know.

Great job on the station!

Funnily enough I had actually tried making a SM4 Legion battlestation, but it didn't work out anything close to as well as this Nanz one, heh.

Some of the tachyons are off-centered.

But holy fucking shit, that is one magnificent station.

Hmm, using a custom sprite for the flashing lights?

I must say that, that station is one of the most awe inspiring things I have ever seen.
