Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!
where exactly should requests for alliances and the like go?
and very nicely done on the necronomicon (wonder where you got the name from ) it looks like the position you want it to fill (that made no sense... w/e)
OSEC Update:
We have now been allowed to declassify an image of the Pendulum. This particular shot shows it with the shield generator rods retracted and ready for loading into a Drassen-class carrier.

Both answers are here. The official alliance messages(diplomatic RP style) go there, and the reason for the Necronomicon's naming is there.

RP goes there, yes. The reason for naming the Necronomicon was that the first Dreadnought to be destroyed in the batlle of cortese was of the same name. I got the name from a comic book, I think it means 'book of the names of the dead'; Necro-Nomi-Con. At least I think it is...

The Necronomicon is a fictional book appearing in the stories by horror novelist H. P. Lovecraft. It was first mentioned in Lovecraft's 1924 short story "The Hound", written in 1922, though its purported author, the "Mad Arab" Abdul Alhazred, had been quoted a year earlier in Lovecraft's "The Nameless City". Among other things, the work contains an account of the Old Ones, their history, and the means for summoning them.
As a matter of curiosity, what type of ship was the original Necronomicon? And will the Technocracy ships (or ship, as it is) ever have downloads available?
The original VSES Necronomicon was a Mark I Vox Vocis class Dreadnought.
And, yes, they will have DL's, but it won't be anytime soon.

Credit goes to Droid for arming it, and thus saving it from the deep crevass of nothingness that is my memory.

Another Entellian ship. Great. But... wasn't there already another ship fulfilling the exact same role as the Aaron R. Bryant Class Assault Carrier... called the Daniel Hawking Class SuperCarrier?
The Bryant class does look better than the Hawking class though. I assume that Aaron R. Bryant is Droid, right? Daniel Hawking is Aralonia. Elizabeth A. Brewster is Lizzie. Who's Michael Goede?

Skrim, an Assault Carrier is mighty different from a Supercarrier.
Anyway, that looks fantastic AD. Great job with arming as well Droid. And the name is pretty awesome too. Man would I love to have that name. The person with that name must be a terribly cool person to have such a mighty cool ship named after them.

That same person is very lucky I didn't use his full name.
No, Aaron R. Bryant is not Droid.
Exe's right, though. A supercarrier is waaaay different from an assault carrier. Size, firepower, role...
Michael Goede? Guess who. It's the single most largest ship in the Entellian navy, now who would fit that role? Hmmm....
