Unnamed ship is still unnamed but done. Now in 3 colors!

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Unfortunately you can only really do this with bright coloured aegis (as demo'd on the Colossus' reactors) but what I usually do is hide the aegis on the section it's shielding if it's just a decorative shield. I don't think it'd really work for this ship though.

Looking at that pic, I think the central aegis column ends at the front of the ship too abruptly.

Yeah I thought about trying to hide the generators under the glow, but it didn't really work so well. As for the central column, I haven't gotten around to ending it yet. I haven't thought of a good way to do it yet, but it'll be less sudden once i get around to finishing it.

EDIT:

Didn't want to double post, so I'm editing this one. I ran some weapon tests, so here's a teaser in the same vein as the novelty weapons thread:

Name the weapon!

They're either pulsars or drivers, but I think pulsars. Are they the weapons the ship has?

They look like the impeder deployer platforms, but I can't figure out how he made them glow or how they would work as weapon.

Sidewinder.

If not, maybe pulsar, or he horribly stretched some other projectile, but I doubt it. I bet you could do something neat like that with Rorschaches...

Either:

A) Pulsars bunched together in slow motion

or

B) Impeders on circle sections with Aegis

Upon testing, it's an aegised section 13, but how is that a weapon? I was all excited, too. :(

Nobody's gotten it right yet, but yes, it will be one of the weapons on the ship, though you could consider it more of a defensive mechanism than a weapon.

They aren't pulsars or drivers, they're not section 13's, they aren't impeder platforms, and they're not sidewinders.

Here's a rather large hint:
They don't actually move once they get where they're going.

Platforms? Rorschachs? Those don't move when they get where they're going.

It's an actual weapon, not a module or a platform.

Tachyons, or the exploison of a plasma torpedo, possibly recolored flak. Sidewinders, REALLY BIG DEMETERS... REALLY BIG recolored demeters.

I'm inclined to go with the demeters. In which case thats a brilliant way to get immobile gun platforms.

EDIT: Demeters, 0 speed, recolored. I believe.

While it would be really cool if they were giant glowing demeters, they're not. Also they're not tachyons, plasma torpedoes, or flak, but I do have something planned for plasma torpedoes later on.

6 weapons down, a bunch more to go.

Here's another hint:

EDIT:
I just tried to load the ship for the first time, and apparently mirroring that many aegis deflectors makes it so some of them don't assign, which required a bit of fiddling. Also, I am sad that recolored point beams make the game explode.

I'm running some experiments know, and my new hypothesis is that it is a modded weasel.
