Regarding the AI as it uses custom-made ships, why is it that the AI never uses Broadsides correctly when a ship is assigned to use Broadside tactics?
It seems only extremely sporadic when the AI decides to correctly use my Broadside ships, but 98% of the time it just attacks head-on. The same thing happens for enemy and allied-controlled ships.
Am I seriously the only one experiencing this, or has no one yet commented on it?
Important AI Concern

The AI decides which side to face the target with by counting how many weapons it has facing each half and using the side with more. It doesn't weigh how powerful each weapon is.
When the ship loses sections/weapons it will re-evaluate and if the opposite side has 2 more weapons than the current side then it will turn around.

The problem is that sometimes it simply doesn't work. What Perturabo was saying (and this happens to me quite often) is that a ship set on broadside ai doesn't try to broadside the opponent, it faces the enemy and attacks with whatever front facing weapons it has. This happens when the ai is set to broadside in both the shipmaker and ingame.
