After slaving away at the ship maker for 15 minutes or so, I decided to test this bad boy out. I had the Velvet Hammer 2 on hand, so I used it for my first test subject. Results below, starting shortly after detonation. I think the pictures speak for themselves, so I'll let them do the talking.
The Velvet Hammer's point defense put a small dent in it, but it wasn't enough. I thought the Hammer's tail section was going to entirely survive, but secondary explosions consumed it. My aim could have been better, too. This weapon has a very narrow spread, and I missed the core.
There are 1001 shrapnel segments inside the ship, in seven clusters. Each segment and the ship itself has 2147483647 HP, the maximum the game will let me enter. The ship is otherwise still base Hestia stats, you have to blow it yourself even. I could spend time tweaking performance stats and fiddling with getting the spread right, but I can't muster the energy to do that. I've already done with this project what I set out to do.
