use our infrared vision to lacate our new ally. and then, rather than continuing to dodge, stand our ground and use our health, regeneration and superior attack to score some good hits. then lay into the larger cell

Nah. We don't need to know who they are, just that they're helping us. Fire all spines at the large cell, rush the little cell and tear it apart with our teeth.

Let's do this. That said, don't spend too much time finding our ally, just a quick glance. We don't want to get hit cause we're distracted.

Use our contained explosives to rocket us forward from our rear end. Gore the stickler (machinegun beast), eat it and proceed to the gargantus with the slime support.
I think the induction of "LOL" "OMG" and "<3" into the Oxford English Dictionary is a sign of the End Times. Only, instead of a rider on a pale horse, it'll be a gibberish-spewing spastic in a monster truck named "The Dildozer".

You stop dodging the "stickler's" spines (+1 DNA), unleashing maximum firepower at it.
It's felled pretty quickly, but is only replaced by two more pealing off of the... Interesting. You start to call it one name, but another name forces itself in it's place, as if something was faster. "stomper". You eat the remains of one of the sticklers (7 DNA), taking enough time that you're hit by a couple of the new sticklers' pellets, but shrug them off while you fire at one, explosions causing it's membrane to ripple.
You catch a partial heat signature, from whatever it was that's shooting at the stomper. It seems to have some sort of thick armor, though, as you can't see it all.

use my previous plan: explosive fart our way into the sticklers and stompers then release all our spines at meele range meaning all will hit and then reversing before the spines explode, we can also use that chance to rip a huge wad of flesh of the stomper for the slime shooting species A to fire at thus weakening it more so we can rocket in again with our regenerated spines to release them inside the stomer to deal the killing blow.

detailed huh. ;)

keep firing at the sticklers until they're all dead, then we're free to lay into the stomper. if explosives do't work, try ramming it with our horn and using our teeth. basically what kittenpillar said, but i think explosive farting will hurt us, so just swim towards them

Yeah, focus on the Sticklers for now, then attack the stomper.

This.
Also kitten I don't think we really know what the hidden cell is firing so saying we open up a wound for its poison is kinda metagaming.

It would be interesting to run a game like this between different forums that have little to do with eachother so we each play sides without knowing the other.

Yes, I would have done that, but where would I have run the other end? Bay12?
May have made things more interesting.
You dive down beneath one of the stickers, finding that right beneath, you can't be hit: It's pellets are launched on a plane, and not straight down. You are still hit on your way underneath, but once you get there... You launch as many spines as you can close range, than swim out as fast as you can as the stickler is blown to pretty small chunks. Mmmm. The word "salsa" could describe it, but... what's "salsa"?
You then turn to the other one, ready to kill it, but it simply twitches and is then still, an oozing hole right through it. So you turn to the stomper, on time to see the last three sticklers peeling off... and swimming away much faster than you'd think they could go. You also notice whatever was in the bush, giving off that heat signature, is now... not there. There are also more holes in the stomper's membrane than before.

feast on the sticklers, then chase after the stomper and take it down.

salsa is edible, that is all we need to know =D

You gobble down the chunky remains of the stickler, followed by what's left of one of the others (12 DNA), noting the nasty taste left by the orange goo and eating around it. You then chase after the stomper, although it's moving so slowly chase may not be the right word. You also notice that the cell that was in hiding has come out. It's blackish shell is composed of overlapping plates, with some vicious looking spikes oozing fluids on them. The cell itself seems to be absolutely flowing with an orange goo, something you'd probably rather avoid eating.
Actually, now that it's eaten what's left of the stickler's that you haven't, you notice the way it has ears and some sort of voice box. Perhaps... the two of you could communicate?
But you're getting distracted. The stomper is the target, and you unleash several spines, aiming for the holes left by the other cell's attacks, biting down into exposed flesh, goring it with your horn.
It still seems relatively unfazed, though, if panicked.
