Advice on my new design...

So, I've moved on to SWA sprites.
My first work: The Skylos Cruiser.

Looking for any suggestions on how I can improve would be greatly appreciated.
CONSTRUCTIVE critisism, please. If you don't like it, tell me why and how it can be made better.
And yes, I know it doesn't have weapons. Still lookin for nice swa-styled ones...

Don't use so many generic2 sprites. Otherwise the shape is decent. Also, shading should convey a sense of depth, with the rule of thumb being that higher sections are shaded lighter than the ones below.

My personal thought on this would be that it needs some for colour to it. I know that it is in black and white with gray, but still a little more red on the side and stuff would bring out its true potencial. Now then as for adding weapons, it truly needs just a beam like weapon in the center to make it have the destruction feeling, and some broadside cannons like, Autocannons, or some Gat Blasters.

And by the way, keep making ships like that, they look really cool!

Jak this ship as I said before is very beautiful looking, and it does seem kinda like a broad side ship now that I look at it that way (thanks paul) but it could have a more narrow shape to it, just to have it seem like more of a broad sider. Check out my new ship designs when I post them up. Once I figure out the whole Image posting thiny.
