The repetition of section 4 and section 22 is pretty bad. Those relatively straight sections are just not meant to be repeated in that way. The wings probably need to be redone to fix the problem. The body is fine though.

You hit the nail on the head with the repetition thing. That is what I am not happy about either. I am trying to figure out how to break up the repetitiveness of the wings without it looking like I am trying to break up the repetition. Once I figure out how to do that, I'll replace the original pic with the new one.

As for this fleet, I think that it is over. The CP is supposed to be the money bags of the galaxy, and small ships are not their thing. Intimidation and the beauty that money can buy gets them some big ships. Small ships don't really work for them. I might 'cut' the wings off of the Minatour, but we'll wait and see on that. It'll certainlysome be after I get the stats and downloads up.

For the next fleet, I still need to round out the rest of the galaxy. It's currently a debate between a series of lightly armed civilian runabouts, or some sort of assassin's guild. Let me know what y'all would want to see, and I'll work on that first. Thanks, all.

Do the repetition in a way that is perpendicular to the curve of the wing, like the front of the carrier for example. Currently, the section 4's are parallel to the curve of the wing. Use sections that can be repeated in a curve (triangular sections, thin sections, curved sections all do the trick). And never, ever use the section 22's tiled as in the current design, without any regard to the curvature of the overall wing shape. That's all I can think of for now.

Well, considering that I modeled the Apocrisias Assault Carrier after the Apocrisias thaumasta, or as most people know it, the Tiger Moth, and that I was finished with the basic design of the ship on April 10th, shouldn't it be I accusing you of your ship looking like mine?

Seriously, isn't it childish to accuse someone of copying your ship, and posting your ship in that person's thread? If not childish, then definitely in bad taste.
