Its in a class unto itself! When I see it my first thought is who built a frog ship and chopped off the front legs...but then I notice the paint(hey black is good!), the impeccably placed aegis, and all the detail put into the hull. Then I try to zoom out and notice the bloody size of the thing! Definitely a unique ship and I'm glad most of the weapons aren't really visible from being too small because obvious ones would ruin it and this is one of the few ships I would put invisible weapons on but it doesn't need em cuz its so big!. Too bad the station doesn't really match its style, that would be hawt!

why does everyone hate the hull shape? its different then most ships but I really don't see what is so horrible about it

There's not much you can say about it, except that it's an aesthetically unappealing shape.

I think the Yrian has a really great shape, but a bit messy in the interior. The lack of colour variation doesn't help either.

Personally the only thing that bothers me was the 'legs', which are actually worse on the dreadnought. But your original fleet's frigate, battle cruiser, and battleship style were excellent, and your newer fleet continued that nicely. Yrian matches that style so don't worry about it.

You can also take their comments as they were made that it just doesn't appeal to their own styles, which are by no means perfect. Perhaps whoever stated it so rudely had a stick up their ass but point is you wouldn't want to conform completely anyway. Keep building stuff like that, and the station, and when they have something constructive to say they will.

Guys, everyone can make all the points they want but those points are overwhelmingly hidden by the language and seriously angry tones. Try just saying what you wanna say, and if someone chooses to use angry words in response, they will look like a fool, and most likely be dealt with.

@anty: Your probably right that it wouldn't look good without the legs. I'm building a monstrosity that I'd like to be somewhat similar when I'm done, and I'm finding it doesn't look good without drastic extensions of the hull in places. When I post it maybe you can give me some insight on how to fine tune it.
