Eloquently put, sir. I will honestly think twice before I lash out needlessly in the future.

New sub-topic to pass the time whilst judging continues: How do the contestants, and viewers (if there are any) feel about the differences in judging styles? Personal attributes of the judges aside, is there a more or less readable style? Do people prefer external websites with links to the various categories like Ara had, or do they want megaposts? Do people want more suggestions on how to improve their ships, or less?

I liked how Aralonia put his judging on a website, megaposts are annoying.
(Yes, I know I didn't participate but, I did read the judging.)

As for advice on how to improve, keep it around the same level, if you really want to give the contestants advice, post it in their thread or PM them.

Good sir, megaposts FTW! I don't really care if there is an external website for the judging as long as it has all the juicy details on the ships (read: megapost on another website).

And finally, the Third Beauty Pageant comes to a close. There were many, many entries this time around, and sometimes trawling through them all became more than a little tedious. Part of me -- hell, most of me -- wants to never do this again, and put it in the hands of someone else. At the same time, though, I love this competition, and I love how it encourages people to strive for self-improvement, and I'm not sure I can trust it in the hands of anyone else. There may be a Fourth Beauty Pageant. There may not. It might be run by me. It might not. Whatever the case, it's my pleasure to bring the Third to a close. Here are the scores.
