Man that is some sweet skillz you have there. Even though those are starter ships. The Ambassador looks awesome.

There's a flaw in the Ambassador's parenting you might want to take a look at, somewhere on the front of the ship, (I believe it's near the tip) connects the entire ship together, destroying this section also destroys the rest of the ship, save for the core.

Hey, Thanks. It should be fixed now. I've updated the link with the new version. Have fun smashing my ship to pieces.Spoot Knight wrote:There's a flaw in the Ambassador's parenting you might want to take a look at, somewhere on the front of the ship, (I believe it's near the tip) connects the entire ship together, destroying this section also destroys the rest of the ship, save for the core.

New ship, the Percival. The Precival is a very fast ship, considering it's size, though it is smaller than my more recent ships. It also packs quite a Punch so don't underestimate it.

It Seems this thread will die if I don't keep making new ships. So I give you the Reliant.

They all look good, but if anyone had actually payed attention to the guy you'd have noticed this;
If you're not talking about "parenting tree starts on that section", then the Misconception of the idea of good parenting award of the year goes to Zako. Parenting is supposed to be logical, meaning that you start out from the core, and then parent every other piece you attach to the ship to the most adjacent section, which is in relation closest to the core. Pareting every piece to a single section will get you weird thigs, such as floating sections, weapons or entire structures. I suggest you fix that, but if you manage to, you've got some good ships there.
Almost everything was parented to a peice that was infront of the core.
Although nearly everything is till perented to one piece I'm not telling you where that peice is.

I'm impressed with the ships! I like the Supremacy, Ambassador and the Reliant.
I don't have any problems with them, but I think that you should not vary the colours between the ships.
(BTW, the Reliant looks very much like the human ships in Star Trek)
