The Izisi and the ones above it are interesting noob ships go, but the ones below that...There just isn't much to say when their largely made of the same section. I will say the Avaji isn't as bad as the others and is an interesting concept...You did some things I like, such as the landing deck with spotlights on the carrier, but why so large? You could build all of those ships at a 1/5 the scale and they would look far better and not lag.

"no" background- make a square, all black .bmp image, open shipmaker and use the tools menu to set it as your background.

inverse colors - take a screenshot, open it in any image editor ever created and press ctrl+I.

Well, the whole fleet is made in a rush by Custom Shipworks. Basically, their super sized empire was just erased from existence, and they need to make ten fleets worth of ships in about a month. If they don't the disterns will walk all over them, so the engineers decided that maybe they could make just one ship take the place of 5 carriers. If you're wondering, I am working on smaller sized ships and the Distern fleet which I have a few concept drawings going so..... I have limited time due to my job, so I'll try to fix 'em as fast as I can. Be back y'all.

The purple bit is a bit too dark and out of place. The red, white, and gray are okay, as is the sectionwork. The fake-aegis engine glows are a wee bit OTT, however.

I like some of the ships (Namely the small ones) But the large ones... That freighter is eye-searing. It might be also because of the fact that the guns are so tiny against it. Of course I understand it is a freighter, but make it at least a bit pretty. People don't mind slight unrealism (at least I don't) in exchange for more prettiness. On ships that is.

I'll give you that. I'm currently arming all ships, I have built a battlecruiser, have made custom wepons animations and am balancing right now. I am going to scrap that freighter and build a smaller one. Updates tommorrow.

This latest one is actually not bad but the orange is too much imo. I would have used it and the red for the trim or accents instead of large parts. Maybe orange for the AD_FR_011 and the AA_sec6, then gray for the parts that are orange now.

SUPER Bump: Added Battle Cruiser, Fighters, Defense system, armed all my ships, Redid Iyuli and Quevil, and finished the design of my new weapons sprites. I know it's alot, but just bear with me. Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Extra bump: I got the Battleship done and want C&C before I procede. ship pic is on opening page. I think my ships are pretty good compared to some of the other noobs, but I don't know so.\

The fleet: Very nice. Not a really big fan of the Vanis, or the Iyuli. The Quevil looks pretty OK, and I want to know how you made the firey thingy on the Avaji.

The Probaki: Me like. Me really like. My only gripe about it is that the sidepod thrusters in the rear stick out a bit. But otherwise, it's good. I can't wait for the armaments.

I think my ships are pretty good compared to some of the other noobs, but I don't know so.

They're better than... this.

to ianfreddie: thanks, i can't get anyone to say anything. i just don't know what to do, so thanks very much for the feedback. Im currently working on the support ships i am missing. This includes a factory ship, a "faux" freighter(basically a freighter with alot of weapons, a healer ship, a landing ship, and a minesweeper. I am also going to replace the Vanis, Iyuli, and Quevil, and possibly redesign the Reosri. for some reason it now looks out of place.

They're better than... this.

To that, yes they are, but are not better than much else. Maybe it's because there is nothing making these stand out.
