Woohoo, not a complete failure!

I was already thinking about a different colorscheme, I guess I'll have to take that serious. I agree on the fact that the fron prongs need some attention, they were made kinda haphazardly. <_<

I think you still need to put some small sections/doodads over the rear and side WF parts to match what you did on the front WF parts.
Realism, seriously? It's a space ship game. Realism was thrown out the window a long time ago.

The shape is quite sexy, I applaud you.

I agree with squishy, the WF sections in the back clash with the detailed sections in the front and middle. Should definitely add some doodads, maybe even edit some detail on them.

I understand that the abrupt corners in the back is because of the engines, but maybe you could make it a bit smoother.

I think you could allay some of the complaints about the WF weirdness by adding a few long ones to the exterior side of each mandible/front prong/whatever you call the two long protuberances that form the ship's bow. And for the cream of Pete, take Squishy's advice about the doodads on the WF panel lines! It looks awesome!

So far it's a janky turdbrick. I do not liek.

If you want me to go into detail, it's mainly how the internals near the bend in the prongs are facing straight forwards, which clashes with the diagonal flow of the bend in its entirety. I also greatly dislike the blobbish shapes of those armor plates and the rather unflattering power core glow.

The general shape shown in the concept once again reminds me of roadkill, and I don't see much potential in it if you're going to do it in the same style that you've done the front in. You'll need to fix or cover the internals and make the armor plates look less ugly somehow. Perhaps by adding more of them?

Yargn. Complete redesign then, or just scrapping it. I think I'm gonna drop the custom sections here, I'm not patient enough to keep on drawing them for every ship I make.

So, wet-navy style ships for the RTN. I'll see what I can make of it.

That white piece in the centre of the bow doesn't work next to those stretched and detailed parts - in fact, I would say re-do the bow a bit, cot it doesn't really follow the flow otherwise. The rest of it seems to be pretty standard stuff, though for some reason I like the stern - I like the custom sections there (though the top one is a pixel off :p)

Going from the WF sprite ship I would say you've taken a big step back :S really liked how that one turned out.

Hmm, the front resembles that of the forward dome section of the Avatar-class Titan from EVE online.


That's one way to avoid the penbrick stigma. I think you should flesh it out a bit more, try to get that cylindrical depth-look via foreshortening or whatever it's called.

...the (OPTIONAL) there is actually quite dire, by the way. Though it's your call to a certain extent-- how and where you want to throw red, white and blue in there is up to you, as long as you throw it in there somewhere! For FREE'EM!

Very nice. I especially like the large cannons and the engine. Never a fan of huge exposed glowy reactors, might cover them with transparent shield dome or something. Only thing I might change is hiding the torpedo launchers since they never looked right to me as mounted emplacements, but up to you. Also those sections you added in the latest version along the back and side look, not bad, but functionless. Kae mecha 41 I think.

All I can say to the colors is YO JOE!
