Exselsior fleet

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Very sleek designs there, the angles and choice of sections give them a smooth feeling that makes these ships pleasing to the eye.

Choice of colours is fine. Light blue and gray. Your next step is to work on different shades (gray mainly) and experiment with them to give your ships a feeling of depth.

I'm glad you posted non-shielded versions, as the shield so quite bright that it obscures the ship. Perhaps you can resort to one of the shield sections that have a hollow center. They work just as well in taking hits along the perimeter while allowing players to see the status of your ships during a battle.

Intersesting they got potential but now they only look like outlines because the insides look not that good.
In the few seconds I watched them it looks like sections from group 1 only.

Now these need refinement, they are like raw, bad shaped diamonds.
Translation : Have potential to skip the lulz moments, and get into the higher levels pretty fast, follow the advice of others, look how good shipbuilders make their ships.

I've noticed how the weapons appear to be on the outside of the shields, might want to play with the depthing a little and use 'w' on them.

Also... Melvin,I completely mistook you for EriErin...

Glad I'm not the only one that did a double take.

Several of your ships look like you could have the stock 20s rotate shut to cover weapons or the bridge during battle.

The outer shape is quite good. However, if your going for a curved, sleek look, you have yet to reach it. Also, the internals seem somewhat messy...Straight internals with hard angles on a curved ship=weird.

Nonetheless, these ships have potential.(in my opinion)

Shields are too opaque, tone down the alpha
Weapons are popping up above shields, press W to depth them
Avatarless and proud of it! And being really crazy and screwing everything conventional!

Don't forget you can find more sections with ~ and 1,2,3,4!
Ships are interesting though.

The turquoise or aqua or whatever it is seems a bit too bright for me. Darkening it would help relieve some of the eyejarr. That's just me though. Also, you still need to work on depthing your sections through color.
