BSF Tutorial (Milk RUn)
This is for the new guys, do you guys think the first mission of the campaign, Milk Run, worked as an effective tutorial?

Well I am not new but I just re-played it. I think it was quite engaging which is good for a tutorial.
It doesn't introduce people to modules which I think deserves a mention, but because Hestia doesn't sport modules, we can bring up the fact that the space station has a nano matrix module, and introduce what modules are and what that particular one on the space station can do and how staying near it helps.

I don't think it really is. The opposing ships are so few and weak to the point where the deflector is nearly useless. Although including a deflector tutorial in the first mission might be a bit more thorough, it may serve to somewhat overwhelm a new player with functions. It's not like deflector use is necessary for victory either.Cycerin wrote:Yeah, but you might aswell do that in mission 1 instead, since it's sort of relevant there too.

Nah, that kind of stuff should just be integrated into the first mission, if at all. The 9th and 10th missions just need to be about putting the smack on Nagaya and the Nanz
Will work for kewl sig/av
