Changed the ship..

Got a new ship up....The Missile things are pointing through the sides, not the front

I'm not exactly thrilled with the ship, but those Tachyons I like. String please.

Tips for the ship:
Those aegised sections don't look great next to the rather thin rest of the ship.
The whole thing looks fragile.

Here's a hint with the missile launchers,you can give them a targeting arc of 0 and they will still fire.

However you won't want to try this with rockets.(missiles with a turnspeed of zero)

Sure...Everybody notices my Tachys...The lines around the Hestia is the DooSection, doodad|spr_Section22|4210816|-205|0|1|0.50
Did you really notice the lack of lines on the description thing at the top right hand corner?

Just noticed how some of my weapons seem to float, none of them do...Moar bugs!

those doosecs are, at least for me, really small. Definitly too small in the status window see the lack of lines.

hurray for using quadblasters. They tend to get ignored.

Well...honestly I thought that these were going to tank. I guess, not so much now. >.>

They're actually pretty fun to have in a battle. Their spindly shape and color gives them an almost demonic feel, and such is further enhanced by their weapon colors, especially the tachyons.

Admittedly things could be done better. The core sprite on the Hephaestus could go, and it's general frame could be reinforced with a few more sections. The weapons overhanging were rather easy to pick off, and once PD was eliminated, it was easily dispatched despite it's 40k core HP.

The Hestia Gamma was rather confusing in relation to the Hephaestus. It's relatively weak HP summoned the need for multiple ships to be placed against the Hephaestus, and honestly that many tachyons were causing hell on the frame rate.

All said and done, each to his own, they're not bad. 3.5/5.0

3k Hull on the Hestia was an accident, ment to do 30k >.>

My biggest ship has 100k hull so I figured that I should balance things out

I like the weapons on the hestia gama... They bounce off my shields nicely :twisted:
The Hephrestus took awhile to kill but its weapons are low even for a ship that size, much less with its hp. Interesting thing you did in the center though, is that an explosion sprite? Can't see it very well but it looked cool on the Hud.

Pretty sure he meant the damage on the weapons. Usually when people put outrageous amounts of hp, they also put lucky 9s in their weapons stats...
