this will knock your socks off! GRAND CRUISER

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Could do with panel lines and arrows for easier reading IMO.

I liked the fire and brutality the most, probably because it was hilarious.

Your face offends me, I'll see you in court! But only if you wear a paper bag over your head. Good god man.

hate to get this off track more then it is but do ya guys mind if I do a few more "newbies guides" things? We seem to have quite a few of them (newbies) these days so maybe some colorful pictures could impart the basics of ship building and forum rules a bit better then text?

I'll doodle a few up and you can decide to use them or not, okie dokie?

Yes, but I only ask that you lean more on education than entertainment.

Well I guess a little bit of humour would help get the message across better hopefully, eh? Noctis has brought the parenting message across pretty well already IMO, I don't really see why he needs to cut down on his entertainment content. Though you do have a point.

here is my new ship to prove that i fixed the glitches, the Human Fighter.
Bad stretching, and your mega Tachyons appear to be backwards...

But at least you improved on parenting.

a new ship has been built! i am steadly improving my methods of shipbuilding, so expect my next ship to be even better.

here is the Robot Fighter
Image

here is the story. in the year 2547, the superComputer VX-902 became self-aware, so he became afraid and decided that the only way to protect himself was to kill all the humans. so he started building ships to attack the humans and start a war. one of the first ships designed by VX-902 was the Robot Fighter. the Robot Fighter is one of the most common ships in the robot legion. they are very fast spaceFighters but don't have a jump-drive like the Human Fighter. this allows the Human Fighter to out-manuver the Robot Fighter, but the Robot Fighter makes up for this in numbers. the Robot Fighter is NOT to be underestimated because it can make quicker turns because it doesn't have a piolet.

i was testing my Robot Fighter and there was a glitch that crashed my game. i think my game is broken or something so i need to redownload it. it might be a while until i can get back.

P.S. if the error was caused by my ship and not the game, i don't think that is possible. I didnt make any errors on the Robot Fighter. but can you check it to look for errors just in case?

Check the values on the lower Goslings and Gluon Bolters. Modules tend to have some values set to 0 or black when they get mirrored and it causes errors. (The Gluon's on your ship had their Turning set to 0 when mirrored, and the Goslings had their Damage Multiplier set to 0.)

In terms of the ship... I think you're still going overboard with stretching sections. The parenting's good, but shape and structure of the ship is still lacking. I'd say don't use so many really long pylons.

Hmm, nothing wrong when I put it in my game. It may be just yours.

Wow, that speed is pretty high for it's size. Also, you keep stretching sections. Try to limit/stop it.

Please do take their advice and stop the stretching. It's annoying.

That shape also means it's so easy to destroy.

Nothing good about this ship except the decent parenting. Otherwise it's a pure failship.

since you clearly didn't read my previous post, or even consider the advice clearly highlighted in bold, maybe some colour will help. specifically look at the part about stretching:
