try changing the aegis color up to get different effects. also, try just using near black aegis if parts of the ship look better unshielded, but must be for balance. also, I would suggest not making these long lines of sections a key part of your ship building style. they really do look flimsy, and you can't just add a barrel to all of your ships.

Which already existing arms? The engines are parented directly to the energy-beam things. I'm obviously going to have to put a lot more armor on the front.

I'm pretty much stuck unless I have some sort of epiphany (or someone else has it for me).
Should I scrap this for now and just move on to a new ship? (Assuming I'm not addicted to Fallout 3 for the next few weeks)
