Decided to check around this place and see for anything new, skimming about I saw this little gem decided to check inside and couldn't cease laughing.
So I went back to see if this guy has made any contribution, surprise surprise as the barrel of laughs continued, or rather...originated.
Only took him less than half a year and nigh 1k posts later to reach a conclusion.
I suppose he'll always be commemorated via the sticky for the Live Chat [BSF IRC] thread which he originated. Admirable.


And now, to save this post from absolute uselessness, here's an article criticizing the censorship incident occuring on Spore.

Those creatures made me lol, but I actually agree thats some of them should be banned

Anarki got banned for being a troll, plain and simple.

Honour Anarki for only one purpose. For being the worst troll these forums has seen these many months. *coughspacejunkiecough*

Really, to me this smacks of someone else using Anarki's account and making these vile troll posts... But then again, I haven't really been paying attention lately... I've drifted in and out of this forum like some misty-eyed hippie (analogy courtesy of Ben Crowshaw) reading little and posting even less... So maybe Anarki's downward slide has been more gradual than I thought...

As for the Spore thing, I really don't think it's that of a big deal... Any really little child playing isn't even going to recognise what the, ahem, 'parts', in question are even meant to be, and any slightly older child (say eight to twelve) is going to snicker and go on with their lives... Again, it's not that big of a deal... Really, all EA has succeeded in doing here is inacting the Striesand effect... If anything this will hurt Spore sales because if they hadn't tried to censor these creatures, I'm sure few people would have even noticed that they were there, but with the Stiesand effect in play and the 'Boobalicious' and that other creature widely publicised, some parents are going to think to themselves "well I'm certainly not going to buy this for my child if you can create penis creatures in it" and not buy it...

Now I know I'm new here, however, a mere look at the other thread I mentioned which be nigh the beginning of Anarki's "career" on this board and several of his other ones along the way...I do believe he has been quite the immature youngster.

He also has the dubious honour to wear the newly made "banned" stamp.

He is by no means the first to have achieved it; two others were banned prior to him.

It is only following my semi-recent promotion that I was able get enough power to enact the ban. Let us just say that four out of six staff (technically three out of five, if one discounts my vote) voted in favour, and two had no comment on the matter.

I know not the person nor his signature.
I've found this game long time ago randomly looking at things and enjoyed it very much since.
I decided to register to the forums only recently, though, as part of a WWW campaign to finally register to forums of sites I had enjoyed but never participated much in.
