i think there shud be a competition for the super wepon for the last few missions. like oviesly the best made will be chossen be th15 and game_boy .

Well I think th15 probably has ideas in mind already, but there's nothing wrong in making suggestions.
My idea: Vortex Pulse Cannon
Description: A larger and more detailed version of the pulse turret fires "bullets" about 48 pixels across with a cool distortion effect about the centre which makes everything inside it look like it's in a bowl (and take massive damage) This distortion would be overlaid with a wavy, transparent blue orb. The bullet itself would travel in an erractic pattern but still on aveage travel forwards.
Perhaps the last mission would be to destroy the cannon before so many of these bullets hit a large planet. A tactical element would also to avoid the bullets themselves.
Big Beamer - installed on a ship, shoot like beamer, but it deals much more damage. The turret cannot be turned, so the GravBeam Projector can avoid the Big Beamer shooting its target, before you can destroy it.
Giant Ball Releaser - Release Giant Balls that bring massive damage, but they do not seek out targets and move slowly. They can be destroyed under massive interceptor fire.
Duplicating Blaster - Blaster Guns that duplicate itself when destroyed
well how about a ion cannon a GIANT blue beamer thet has to charge up. last mission could be to distroy the ion cannon befor it charges up and totelly distryos earth or a colnelly withe a war going on withe the humans+the aliens or somthing. well i think am getting a bit ahed of myself here but i think its a good idear what do u think
My vote would be a giant (like half the map wide!) unguided torpedo en route to Earth, bristling in defense turrets and supported by alien escort ships...the object being to simply ram a large chunk of metal into Earth (hey if it worked on the dinosaurs!)
I'd imagine the mission as a long rectangular map, with your ships deploying at one side and the torpedo slooooowly moving from the other. The objective would be to destroy as much of the structure as possible while fighting off the enemy escorts. Do enough damage and you knock the torpedo off course, leaving it to fly into deep space (or possibly to salvage...BF2 anyone? )
the torpedo is a nice idea, but I think a special EM weapon the just obliterates metals. And it has no affect on alien ships, because they use some sort of ceramic instead.
Kinetic Missile: It has noticeable acceleration, like that alien shotgun and alien analog of the blaster, it moves faster the longer it travels. It has a very high top speed, maybe 20. It can dodge extremely fast left and right but has extremely slow turning because it has low acceleration. If it misses on the first pass it doesn't get a second chance. It takes two point defense beam hits to kill. Anti-matter Missile: It's just like the previous missile but works in proximity with a lower top speed and acceleration. Ramming System: It's like a deflector but it doesn't stop weapons fire, it will cause damage to any enemy hull that comes in contact with it and cause minor damage to the ship section wielding it.

Sounds like it fits to me with weapons like the Gauss whatsit, Tachyon Cannon, Beamer, Particle Gun, Demeter Launcher, Plasma Charge. They're all named after what they fire and much of what they fire isn't that fancy. The third one might be better named as Ram though.
