Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!
Kinda OT, is there a thread explaining on the advantages of ablaitive(sp?) armouring?
Takes more hits to damage the main systems of the ship?
Also, if you get bored of conflicts based around targeting unshielded sections or waiting for the shields to go down, ablative armour provides more constant exploding.
Mega uber win! They remind me somewhat of Egypt, but if you wanna go the extra mile, change the color scheme to yellows/darker yellows/light or dark oranges. Otherwise just ignore what I said.
Suddenly, I hear the rather Egyptian sounding track from the Halo 2 Soundtrack, Follow (More like Pharoh to me.) playing in my head.
Use PNGs for your pics, they look better than top-quality JPGs and (usually) have smaller file sizes.
Comparison. The PNG on the left is 82.5KB, saved with MSPaint. The JPG on the right is saved in max quality in Paint.net, and is 184KB.
Notice the loss of some colour on the JPG, and how the image appears blurrier. The PNG is almost identical to the original BMP.
EDIT: I just noticed that your ship pics were PNGs. Stupid me for assuming that all your pics were JPGs just from looking at that poster.
Those really nice. My least favorite though would be the Nebulas. Maybe those are bit much for me with the big circular fans on the back but the other are just plain sweet in my opinion. 8)

Clicky to see my fleets! :D[/url]
I'm not seeing the Egypt in them. Which is odd, since I've been doing nothing but pouring over inscriptions, palettes, and literature for the past few days, because of a few tests I have in my Egyptology class.

I like them anyway though. Looks pretty decent.
Nefertiti crowns, I suspect. But even that is a stretch.
