Doesn't mean I have to use it :-p

I just reran our fleet against the motherships and for the first time in my tests, we are winning regularly. :D

Lancets, same speed, and the new ships really make a difference.

My Cuddlefish actually has become a decent support ship since it'll fly around the rest of the fleet and repair them a little bit.

Turtle and Jormungand still get trashed alot though.
Don’t worry it has airbags.

how does mine do? I'm thinking of swapping out the current design with a beamer tank.

It works pretty well. Since our close in ships live fairly well now, you really don't need that nano repair anymore. It would be nice to keep a second Area Fire type of ship. Maybe gatblaster spam instead or keep using Pulsars.

Behold my shitty design!
I've checked - there's more than 10 degrees between each of the aegis gaps, and each ageis section covers just slightly less than 90 degrees when measured from the core XD

Has 18 Missile launchers, since they are cheap. As well as two lancets, since they're win. Should be able to distract PD...if anything... Though I think I should really invest in some PD myself.

Maybe I should remove 12 sections and a pair of aegis, and remvampthe armament, and give it some PD and speed...donno..

I have another design which I won't reveal yet...

That's a little overkill isn't it?

Yep, a lot of us have been using MediaFire - works well and you don't need an account.

Yeah, I have noticed the same change in fortunes - starting to work out nicely! :D What ships are you running your tests with since we don't have all 8 ships yet?

Here are the latest of mine that I have been refining, let me know which one you think may help the team out best.

Citrus Peeler (had this variant before, but had range too far out - tucked in the outside edges behind the front shield).

Zitrusfrucht (funny how we started with no Aegis shielded ships and now we have plenty)

That's not bad. I like the Frigate more than the Aegis beamer. Beamers are powerful but have their limits.

No they aren't, the Mothership never had a chance at all. :D

I'll be changing the Aegis Deflector placement soon...can't do it now as I'm bogged down with work. But I'll give you the modified ship by Monday.

Well, after testing it, I'd have to agree since that thing doesn't take much fire.

I'm also impressed by Marble Of Doom. That Aegis shield does block tacs really well.

Well...thanks a lot, then.

Oh, and the Marble of Doom might be susceptible to those megabeamers though...they can actually reach through thin deflected sections, BTW.

I'll post my modified ship up here...

I tested mine, and 8 of them in a semi circle can beat the test mothership without one of them getting noticably damaged.
