It's better that way so people don't know we're a community eventually doomed to die the slow death of many great games before us.

Check yourself, its about shipmaker, not the game.Giles wrote:TH15 said it about the v0.86 release, check the main page.
Browsed through few last pages of this thread, no info on completeness of anything from th15, and no rainbow image for that matter.Jafo wrote:Check TH15's post on page 64 of this thread (look for the rainbow picture ).
Page 65. More features therefore seems unlikely.th15 wrote:You can now create your own encounters involving custom ships and share them around. An encounter is fully self-contained, as the .shp files for the custom ships used in an encounter are embedded into the .enc file itself. This means that it's now easy to share your own custom battles with everyone. Re-enact your favourite space battles in an encounter, dream up whole new conflicts and share them with your friends!
Also new is the new projectile colouring system which allows full re-colouring of bullets, as seen below:[imagesnip]
With this release, Battleships Forever is officially feature complete. There's still some way to go with the content and polish, but all the features that I intend to implement are hereby live.

I've just always wondered if manufacturers were so stupid that they'd not include one, because the crapfuck I've seen on other places when there isn't widescreen support made me think that it was impossible to play without stretching, which seemed silly.Kaelis wrote:Most of them do. Your point?Müg wrote:Don't widescreen monitors have a 4:3 setting?
It's not a reason not to include it; why not use the extra screen real estate if it's there?
Uh, what? Im not exactly sure what you're saying, but 4:3 leaves half of screen space empty on widescreen displays. Thats why the 'crapfuck on other places where there isnt widescreen support'.Müg wrote:It's not a reason not to include it; why not use the extra screen real estate if it's there?
Anyway, what does this have to do with TheBlueEcho's request for a widescreen mode?
Uh, it has everything to do with it? If you'll look closely, it's a mild endorsement for including such an idea.Kaelis wrote:Anyway, what does this have to do with TheBlueEcho's request for a widescreen mode?Müg wrote:It's not a reason not to include it; why not use the extra screen real estate if it's there?
