Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!
I've started working on my next project. the Magog Worldship. once finished this vessel will be the largest ship ever created in BSF, It took me 2 hours to come up with the frame for the star, and already it is easily 1/3 the size of the SM3 area. When finished I'm worried that this ship might not fit on the default sandbox
I need help though. I need pictures of the worldship, so far all I have is a poor quality youtube video.
I also need suggestions on coloring, the metal rings will be gunmetal grey, with chrome and gold rings stuck in occasionally. I was also wondering how do the sun, my idea is to make it yellow with aegis overtop, but I'm not sure if that will look starlike enough.
Here's are some images I found at andromeda-web.com after hunting around a bit. I can't believe how ridiculously difficult it is to find information on this thing. There's not even a wikipedia article for it. It's like I'm using a *gasp* library again!
That's it in the background if I'm not mistaken.

Here it is in what seems to be its death throes
Good luck with the ship!

Wait . . . I thought it was suppossed to be larger than that. To keep a yellow-dwarf sun going, it would have t be much larger . . . its absolutely miniscule compared to that planet, even to the ship in the foreground. How does it hold a few trillion Magog? Plus, how does it keep form collapsing in on itself with all those rocks?
Magic. Andromeda never really cared any for realism or scientific accuracy. The point is that it looks fucking awesome. Good luck with this, Tsakara, I'm not sure if I'd have the patience for it.

Gay cute girl and fucking proud of it.
Heck if I know. All your points are valid, Chaos. I can't find any textual information besides this passage from Wikipedia to explain it.
Magog World ship
This is the Magog 'mothership', and possibly the home world of the Magog. A superstructure made of 20 connected planets surrounding an artificial sun, it is the size of a small solar system. It is armed with point singularity weapons, carries an unknown but massive number of smaller vessels, and is home to trillions of Magog. In the beginning of Season 4, it was discovered the ship was built by an immortal cyborg named Kroton at the behest of the Enigma. At the end Season 4, it was thought to be destroyed, but it was later revealed to merely be crippled in Season 5.
what are the final dimentions in SBU? (ship builder [area] units)
if it's bigger than 4x2, than you've beat me!
Lol- that's like the reverse of the Azarilian cluster ship, which was rather a superstructer/superplanet surrounted by actual planets and artificially sustained stars in what i can best describe here as a "gravitic web" without having to rewrite a long paragraph from my book
You can modify the color of the aegis effect, so for the star I'd suggest you take a page from the Uranus and do a blend- start out with pure white in the center, and then move down yellows to a orange-yellowish gold at the rim. It'll take time, but I think that's a given for this project.

QFT.
Andromeda was the bottom of the pit of the dumpster at the bottom of the Mariana Trench.
