The Galactic Marauders (fleet)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

The Galactic Marauders (fleet)

Post by Zess »

Image

The Galactic Marauders are a band of strong, but not very numerous men and women. They were employed by the Terran for special missions, such as destroying bases, enemy planets, and the like. The Galactic Marauders have been suffering from losses, until they stumbled upon an old alien blueprint. They modified it, and called it the LK-24 Ralamar.

In the red, the Thor Battleship.

The Thor Battleship, named after the greek god of lightning, really represents it on the field. It is well defended, and has many uses. It is also a useful offensive weapon. It has many experimental weapons such as overcharged railguns, missile salvos, and more. The only real way to experience the Thor for real is to pilot it.

In the grey, the Janher MK I.

The Janher MK I is a very fast, lightly armored scout ship. It has a single gun, that while not very numerous, can defeat single opponents. Against more than one enemy, this ship will get killed very quickly.

In yellow, the Zelus MK II.

The Zelus MK II is, obviously, the sequel to the popular Zelus. It has upgraded weaponry and defenses, and more modernized engines.

Outlined with green, the Trann.

The Trann is a support ship, designed for repairing others. It has light defense and armor, you should keep this ship out of fights. It is very effective at repairing, though. Keep these near heavier ships for maximum effectiveness.

In light teal, the Janher MK II.

The Janher MK II is a slightly altered counterpart of it's predecessor, the Janher MK I. It features dual phasers, considerably more accurate than the chain-phaser on the MK I.

In dark teal, the LRA-49 Raptor.

This variant of the Raptor is specifically made for long ranges. Loaded with experimental weapons, this should pack a nice punch at long ranges. Keep it behind the front lines, though, because it is lightly armored and will get downed pretty quickly.

In brown, the Kelvernan.

The Kelvernan is based mostly upon lasers and railguns. Being another sniping battleship, it is generally used behind the front lines to suppress larger ships.

And last, but DEFINITELY not least... The LK-24 Ralamar. (Bigass ship in the middle)

The LK-24 is the epitome of galactic warfare. It is heavily armored, with a large loadout of 22 Blasters, 20 Beamers, 6 Plasma Cannons, 2 Deflectors, 20 Repeaters, 12 Flak Cannons, 5 Nano Matrixes, a Flux Projector, and 2 experimental Ion Cannons. It may have such a large loadout, but it moves and turns very slowly.

Un-pictured ships are the Yalman, and the GM-94 Exodus. Download link here.

Your friend is an idiot.

As for your ships, Zess... eh, they're all right, I guess. Except once again you said that Thor was the Greek God of Lightning, when he's actually the Norse and Germanic God of Thunder. Zeus is the Greek God of Lightning.

These are decent beginner ships.

I somehow understood what parenting was instictually so it isn't an utter mess. But I tried to put every weapon on, so it ain't perfect.

Cool enough fleet.
Mef my first ship was nigh but a core, simple armor and a railgun...and I think a deflector.

That's quite a cool hull you've got there.
