Loving this stuff, everything is so precise. The ships are completely different but all look like a cohesive fleet without being the same ship with extra bits tacked on. Even the parts that seem boxy or straight lines at first glance are detailed.
Don't remotely have the time to touch this wonderful mess of a game, but I always wondered what your ships would look like in a 3d sandbox like Space Engineers or something. I suppose a big part of the art is accomplishing what you do in a 2d format though...
