Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!
Took all of six minutes to put together from a Hestia hull I had lying around. Only modded weapon is the two Microbeams, and then only for 200 extra range. Four prototypes (no Beams) of the Super Hestia took out a Levi in only a minute.
The new Hestia looks like it got hijacked and rebuilt using Nanz (or is it Nand?) design semantics. Nicely done, if that's the look you were going for. A little powerful for a destroyer, so I guess you'll have to start calling it a cruiser instead, but other than that tiny technicality, its ok. The second ship on the otherhand, is a spade. An armed and deadly spade, that is.

It's pretty much a fast cruiser in concept with more survivability.

This is specifically designed as a pointed [zing!] answer to Cerebrus's 'zOMG WANKSHIP OH N0ES!!1!1!!' whining.
I didn't vaguely insinuate it was a wankship. I said it looked overloaded. Mostly because it's supposed to be a modified Hestia, yet it has 2 nanos, 4 boosters and 2 Impeders, which aren't even the canon ship's technology.
I have to say that your 1st ship shown there is balanced due to fact that some of the modules aren't hidden and can be shot down. Gotta add this to my "balanced ships" folder.

Ha, thanks. I pretty specifically designed it that way.
