Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

The Type 4 is, to be sure. It's designed to ram into a target and tear it apart from the inside out. It also has extremely weak rear defenses and armament.

Or brute force
Look Up
upon reading this:
50% of people will have scrolled up
25% will have looked at their ceiling
The last 25% can now feel smug because everyone else has taken orders from a little sig box.

If I did my math right, the Purgation can put out 30,000 damage a frame.
I'm going to need to tweak it. Ideally, it should start out weak and have a period in the middle where it does horrendous damage, and then taper off again. 30k is a bit much. I might also up the deviation so it spreads out more and doesn't focus all the damage on one section.

20,000 damage, at minimum, a frame. That is 600,000 damage a second.
The thing is that it still won't poke through a shield. I put two Type 5's up against each other and I only started doing damage with some clever targeting.
It's doing a ton of damage, but it's being staggered, otherwise it would nuke shielded sections with no problem.
I was trying to work around having to use over-penetrating railguns. The Malandanti rely mainly on beam weaponry.
