Majicnanas asked for a weapon that changes color and gets weaker as it empties its magazine.
Miram asked for a targeting laser.

This ship has both.
The red side gun fires projectiles that get weaker and change color.
Weapons used: 4

The blue side gun fires a beam that gets progressively weaker and smaller.
Weapons used: 4

The large red turret is a rotary gun that fires projectiles that get progressively darker, but not weaker. It also features a yellow targeting laser. I left that particular weapon visible.
Weapons used: 12

I assume that you all already know how to get ship files from an sb4.

Let me know if this is satisfactory. The small red weapon has some firing issues still, but the general effect is achieved.

Huh, I don't even know how to do the color stuff. Target lasers are easy though.

Yup.

I have noticed that if the delay is long enough that the primary weapon fires multiple shots before the "linked" weapon fires its first, it doesn't always fire. This is the problem with the red side gun. The last two weapons in the sequence only seem to fire one shot when they are set up to fire twice.

The various ROF/reload/ammo settings of linked weapons are generally overridden by the driver/master weapon, so only the range/deviation/burst/damage are really relevant. They run their fire process once when the driver/master tells them to, and that's it.

Also the first time any linked array on a ship fires, there are usually shot timing issues. Not sure what causes it.

Working on the HLB 06 Omen. Going to give it twin heavy rotary turrets that fire the "hellfire" shells. They'll be much weaker. Is there any way to change the color of the submunitions of the particle cannon? The rainbow explosion is kind "off" looking for this weapon.

I don't think so, the MIRV missiles were added in a later meta that's why they have the option.

Comments and critiques are encouraged for this one. I'd like to know what people think. It will be one of two flagship-type battleships. The other being the HLB 07 Hydra.

Working on the HLB 06 Omen's weapon system. It consists of 18 heavy green lasers.

Not doodaded or anything yet. Please ignore the "dummy guns" they will be removed later.
Those "lobster claws" will become turrets. Each will have a single superheavy violet laser.

One of the two primary turrets. They only turn 15 degrees, and the ship cannot really turn too well either, so it seems fair to have 18 weapons on the narrow facing. Sadly, this is over 90% of its attack power.
The submunitions have been removed from the primary weapons.

HLB 06 Omen has been completed.
It is the largest vessel utilized by the HLB.
It uses a concave engine design and a hybrid variation of Cerberus' and Hellfire's weapons.

Honestly, Zalausai, as fancy as all this stuff it, I feel you really need to step back from fancy trigger/moving sections stuff, and focus on trying to improve your aesthetics. A big problem with all your ships is that they use overly large, low-detail sections, that aren't fitted together very well in many instances, resulting in flat, bland ships with little about them that actually looks good. Seems a shame that someone so good with trigger stuff isn't so good at actually making ships that well... look nice.

Then I will skip the HLB 07 Hydra for now and build two smaller ships with no special focus to triggers. Maybe two moving parts or something small, but that'll be it.
I would like to request help naming them though, as I am out of naming ideas for the HLB. I am fairly sure that everyone can figure out the general naming themes.
