I think its the colour scheme. It's those weird sections that flank the core that stand out.

Aahhh yes, stock, oh the nostalgia. Shiny one looks great as well Delta, although the front part seems a bit flimsy. Might just be me.

I think it looks pretty well armoured. For someone who isn't comfortable using shiny it's not bad! It also kinda reminds me of the recent 'Alchemy 3.0' ships.
