Yeah, i meant to include that in the post but simply forgot. These are based on sprites from a few games, mainly Cybernator/Assault Suits Valken and Front Mission: Gun Hazard. Some of them are straight rips with modifications, others are scratch-built.

Also, i actually planned to do much more, but just didnt get as much response as i hoped. If i see people building ships with these, ill make more.

Holy shit, I loved those games.

Public Service Announcement: Kaelis's new Shiny Sections work quite well with the SW-ized DST sections, and with HorseMonster's sections.

They do not work well with any other variety of SWA section.

At all.

Woo! Bountiful Kaelis, that is shedloads more sections than I was expecting, there must be hours of work in there.

I'm gonna dl these and see how they match up with SWA2, I'm figuring better than SWA1.


@SWS, I'm liking those two Culture ships, probably more than anything you've made for long time. Pretty mint.

I doubt anyone's bothered to do this before, but has anyone actually counted the number of sections Kaelis has created? My guess would be like a thousands or so, easily. So, does anyone know the exact number, or at least, close?

Roughly 544 Stock-style sections
Roughly 470 SWA-style sections
256 Shiny-style sections

So, roughly 1270 sections.

I'm not 100% certain I have all his Stock section packs though, and there may have been some duplicates or errors, since I didn't count all of them by hand, but rather selected the Kaelis folders, right-click, and clicked "Properties" to determine the number of files in all the folders.

I didn't include "Kae_bits" in the list, since Kaelis didn't actually make it.
