Kalaris Trade Combine/ Taaluurm-Nrycx/Alcrus Empire (p3)
So, I've finally decided to do some non-meta ships in the TSwA style, so I started a fleet.
Yes, the roles are shamelessly ripped off from Sins as I can't be assed to make up my own fleet division style. Don't worry, I won't do that for their enemies.
Backstory
The Kalaris Trade Combine started after the fracture of the Unified Terran Government. Originally called the Terran Republic of Kalaris, after years of peace, the Combine demilitarized, instead focusing of economic growth through interstellar trade. Nestled within the resource-rich Telerian belt of star systems, and with peaceful neighbors, there was no real need for a military, which generally served more of a deterrent to commerce than actually being useful.
When the extragalactic Taaluurm-Nrycx arrived in their rather xenocidal conquest, the resource-rich but poorly defended Telerian belt became a prime target for Taaluurm-Nrycx resource gathering operations to fuel their assaults against the more militarized Star Nations. They would strip-mine entire planets, killing all those who attempted to escape, and harvesting all those who didn't.
In a desperate attempt to save their people, the Kalarian government recalled the merchant fleet and began a massive retrofitting program to make them combat worthy. The refitted craft proved capable against the weaker, non-combatant units of the Taaluurm-Nrycx, but were still no match for their warships.

It'd be blatently unfair to say you failed at all.
Section wise, very good, I think you achieved the merchant ship-turned warship forms well. Though one nit-pick, the lack of colours for the most part doesn't make them stand out IMHO.
Vrysinas: Nice name, good assymmetric shape, the left side looks suitable for housing a single beamer or cannon. I like the mixture of solid forms and exposed beams and antenna.
Makriyialos: Reminds me of the Hestia body shape, but more compact and far less fragile-looking, I cab see a few ablative sections on the wings. Although it looks a little bland and generic, as one might say, compared to the rest of the fleet.
Vathypetro: As before, I like the interesting mix of solid forms and beam work, exposed-looking engine section and bits and pieces. The only possible gripe is the cannon placement of the back and front weapons, the hull looks more like a broadside than otherwise.
Tylisos: A blocky, fairly strong looking craft. It's a mix of the above two in compliments and crit. Nice torpedo placement by the way.
Fragarach: I'm a little stuck for stuffs to say. Ignoring the reppetition due to the containers and stuff, I think it's a very good ship, certainly fits the former and latter roles you've assigned it. But a nitpick - I feel you didn't move the weapons after mirroring the structure, upon closer look. (By the way, the multi-domed ship link looks lovely.)
Galatine: Firstly, like the above, I've noticed how the weapons are in different places on either side on matching sections, if that made sense? Liking the massive 'arm' there, for the lack of a better phrase, powerful looking. Great ship details and depthing.

The first few seem to be kind of "cut-out", i.e. have the same thickness in most places as if the top and bottom are flat. You might be able to counteract this by tweaking your shading and/or adding some smaller sections on the top to break up the surface.
Unless of course that was what you were going for.

Ok, so I added a bit of color and swapped the stock sections for their equivalents in Kaelis's new gnr sprite pack.

Also, since I don't have anywhere else to put it, here's a WIP TSwA-itization of my old AHS Hell Raven.
Main battery turret cover sprites based on the ones by Aralonia, just moderately edited for shading and widening of the barrel so that it would fit a megabeam shot.

Asymmetrical ships for the win.
I think you could carry over the concept to larger ships quite well. I'm not sure Galatine particularly counts. It kinda looks like the ship designers took an older ship and tacked a really big gun on one side.

First one, definably far better with the new sections and added colours than the older version, although if you don't mind a nit-pick, the I've noticed the auto cannons and blaster at the front were moved from the mirroring and not adjusted accoordingly. Also, entirely up to you, could I suggest a bit more orange sections nearer to the front?
The second craft, wow. A mighty craft indeed, very, very spiky indeed. I rather like the colour scheme, reminds me of the NOD faction. Not sure what else to say, but same nitpick about the placement of weapons. Please continue.

I'm coming out of lurking to say simply this, I really dig these ships.
The small ships are mostly good, but the big ships are where this fleet shines, I love the multi-tiered designs done right, coupled with excellent assymetry.
The section usage is really nice in most places (particularly on the big ships), and the general feel is great.
The fighter and bomber are okay (well the bomber is, the fighter needs a redo), but they don't really fit with the style of the rest of the ships. They're single-tiered and curvy, rather then multi-tiered and industrial.
In short, I want to see a super capital in this style

This is probably one of my favorite fleets posted in the last month or so. I love the asymmetry, and the ships in general have a very industrial look about them. As Bad Boy already said, the bomber has been done pretty well, but the fighter is rather, eh, icky for lack of a better description. But fixing it up probably wouldn't be a problem, if you wished to do so.
On the light carrier, how many fighters/bombers would it carry? Not in-game, but as a general concept...

I love these soo much I'd pay for a download. I find no immediate flaws in them and props on the colony ship, sooo many people do't bother with them it leaves a hole in thier fleets. 9.6/10

I got fed up and re-did the sprites for the fighter and the bomber, added a gunship.

As a general concept the light carrier would carry ~12 fighters or ~8 bombers. In-game it dumps 6 fighters off the bat then gradually replaces them one at a time...so, ends up being infinity. Even then it isn't very good as salvo cannons chew fighters up real bad.
