Well, advertisements in games. They can be annoying, yet few people realize that some free MMOGs are nearly completely built around advertisements as their sole source of income. Not including donations. Do you like these advertisements or not?
I personally could do with far more advertisements in games, as long as it means more free content. Dealing with banners and the occasional click is enough to justify a little more gameplay content unlockable for free, in my opinion.
tl;dr-ers will be shot on sight.

Advertising is cool as long as it's well done. I never really mind product placement in games, seeing a poweraid vending machine (that works!) or a SOAP shoes poster always makes me chuckle inside.
Voted no because I don't prefer advertising, so I voted no, but in the right game I don't mind. The best integration I've seen is in the Need for Speed games, where you have street side billboards and name brand stores and food chains in the world, which works quite well. Hellgate: London has posters on walls used for ad space, too, which is a similar system but doesn't really work for me. Advertisements for current movies in a post-apocalyptic wasteland is a bit jarring. Ultimately for free online services I'm perfectly willing to tolerate advertisement, assuming the game is worth playing.
I don't really give a damn, so long as it isn't detracting.

I don't really care either. If there's WAY too much ads, then it gets distracting. *cough*NFS: Pro Street*cough* I still prefer games with the right amount of adverts though.
I love product placement advertising. Noticing a character drinks coke all the time, or someone wearing a Nike jersey, or as mentioned before, the wonderful vending machine.
Well I don't realy like em too much, though I don't mind them too much either unless they are distracting.
And sometimes they are fun to shoot at, like in Exteel, some of them are placed on city levels to show up bit like the adverts IRL wise and they can break if you shoot them enough.
