How long until v3 then? And what if we posted up some really really neat parts for the SM?

I know, and we got the best of that batch. What I mean is, what if we did it again?

I think there's still a pretty hefty number of good designs still in the thread.

I very much agree, but... Yah...

Oh and yeah, what are the chances of getting a new weapon? I'd really like an uninterceptible cannon-type thing with a blast radius... Rail meets Plasma.

How could we balance it without completely nerfing damage though?

Colour hue of weapons would be teh win.

But we need some nice circular Terran pieces, and some more Alien pieces.

And the ability to change projectile speed xD

I'd like to edit projectile strength ... slow but sturdy super nuke of doom.

My idea of it is this:
Listed Damage = X
(damage to targeted component = X, not 1.5*X)
Blast Area = X for radius
Damage in Blast Area = X/2
So the cannon would, in it's balanced canon state, do 40 damage every 4 seconds at a range of 650 with 3 deviation.

Perhaps some sort of flag can be added to the ship maker to have a weapon fire at it's target even if it isn't within range. That way, we can have close ranged weapons like energy saws.

Genius! Why didn't we think of that before... Custom AI ranges... Might be harsh on the CPU though. I only say that because I own a computer from the stone age though...

the game could be better with custom weapons color
that way you can change the color of each battalions
like fraxy but fraxy got one color for the whole game
like this we could change the color of each allied/enemy/alien/your
weapons
