This package includes the following:
----- The standard game's files,
----- As many custom sprites as; I could find / lay my hands on / possible,
----- Ship Maker .ini files for said custom sprites,
----- Vanilla Game & Ship Maker
----- MIRV Game & Ship Maker (Vanilla release plus MIRVs and more.)
----- Fighter Bay Game & Ship Maker (MIRV release plus Fighter Bays.)
----- Bubble Shield Game & Ship Maker (Fighter Bay release plus Bubble Shields.)
Why would this be a problem? I've looked through it briefly and it's basically what anyone who keeps on top of custom sprites and the various versions would have. The sprites are posted on the basis that they're free to use and modify with credit where necessary. The game files are simply being shared, this seems to essentially be you posting your copy of bsf on the forums for the convenience of new users. I've not actually run it and as mentioned I didn't spend much time looking through it so I may very well have missed something.
All that aside, it's nice to see someone doing something and it's nice to get some of the sprites I never had or wanted. If I still built ships I'm sure it'd be useful, thanks.
Well I went through the trouble to make sure it had all the custom sprites available when I made it. As I already mentioned, the only thing it is missing right now is Arctic's custom sprites.
I had made it to make it so that no noob could ever have the excuse of not being able to find custom sprites ever again.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, this is very helpful for noobs and everyone else. If I came off saying otherwise it was probably because it was 3:30 am when I posted so I may not have been very clear.
What I meant to say is that I don't know why this would be a problem.
On the other hand, I couldn't help but notice that you included some of my work, without my permission. Now, I wouldn't have minded if you had taken liberty to use my pieces to make a ship--that would be the most flattering; on the other hand, since you're making a redistributable, you should have asked for permission first. If you did, I would have told you specifically what pieces I would allow and what pieces I would not allow, and I probably would have given you links to some of my older stuff as well (which you missed)
Not that I am angry, I'm just annoyed. I'm not going to request removals of any sort, as this is all free anyways and so there is no harm done, but just please ask for permission next time.

If admirals hate and trash your ships,
If you can't get it right;
Then off you go, but don't call quits;
Just go make custom sprites.
Well the thing is, I was going to get to that, and not just permission from you, but from everyone who's sprites are in it. The forum staff kinda drifted off some time ago before it was gotten to.
My appologies for not asking first, but I was also under the impression that most of the sprite makers with the exception of Vid were gone for the most part.
I stop in from time to time to check in on the community. Though I don't spend much time with shipmaker anymore.

Good shipbuilders never die . . . they just fade away.
