Well I really like the top one but the color is pleasant and they both demonstrate really good meshing of different packs. Bottom one seems a bit front heavy if that makes sense but maybe thats just me. Perhaps could use some electric arcs between those 'teeth? Or maybe you have a different purpose...

Oh Seraph the things you do with sections, my one single complaint about the second ship is that the grey section on the back is creating a nasty vertical line on top of the brown section, other than that beautiful, reminds me of some of crimson flame's ships.

The only real nitpick that I have is that I don't like the dark grey just outwards of the 'teeth' on the second one. Other than that, these are amazing as well.

Awesome ships Anna, the "Grey Area" are the most cool of all.

Also the Ordanian Battlefleet is freaking awesome!

Nice fighter there, I really ought to go and pick up the new section pack...
It need more grey highlighting, near the front, however.

A new concept, eh? Sounds interesting...

And here it is:

It started off with me thinking that some parts of TheBuilder's concept were pretty sound. But I didn't want to outright steal his concept, so while I was taking a shower (TMI much?) I came up with an idea.

A race of space-dwelling biological organisms, who decided to advance themselves by scavenging from shipwrecks, from ancient battlefields, from derelict spacestations, from whatever they could find, and use those materials to enhance themselves. They're basically Tyranid or Zerg-like creatures (In appearance only), that concluded that having a badass metal shell would be much more effective than flesh and bone and carrapaces. I'll probably write up a proper story for them.

I've made one ship already. This is basically the proof of concept.

Part of the neural interfacing, actually. But a holographic eye piece isn't a bad idea... hm.
