First Turn hasn't ended yet!

Still trying to sort the mess of the first turn.

Please post move orders in thread. PM move orders will be ignored. This is to avoid clutter.

The build phase comes before the move phase, right? Otherwise, weird things happen like a planet being captured before what you wanted build there gets built. And on the first turn, shouldn't constructing our 20 pt starting fleet count as the build phase? Lastly, do we post our build orders here now, or just the move orders?

EDIT: Anarki seems to have done it the way I mean, so is that the right way?

To make sense, everyone just copy Anarki.

His way seems organized.

Initial Fleet

Frigates 4x - 8 points
Battleship 3x - 12 points

I send the four frigates to DM-3 1123, and keep the battleships home.

Sorry about not having posted in a while. Anyway, can you rename my system to Angelus please?

My fleet starts with ten Hadraniels (Fighters), five Zachariels (frigates) and five Barachiels (destroyers), oh yes, and a free Seraphiel station in the home system That's twenty points (that is how many you start with right?)

In terms of fleet movements:
I'll move them to the Alpha Centauri/Proxima Centauri system

I hope that's clear enough. Also, do I get two systems in that one hex or how does that work?

Luyten:
0 pts - 1 free Y2A1
4 pts - 8 FZ1
16 pts - 4 TA1

Luyten => GJ 1111 (1 FZ1)
Luyten => Procyon (1 FZ1)
Luyten => Ross 986 (1 FZ1)
Luyten => Ross 614 (2 FZ1, 3 TA1) (take the rightmost direct route, since it's ambiguous where they would end up, and remember they have to stay together)
Luyten => Sirius (2 FZ1, 1 TA1) (take the rightmost direct route, for similar reasons)
Luyten => Kapteyn's Star (1 FZ1) (take the topmost direct route)

For fights, I think we should use a double sized arena size in the encounters. We'll have fleets of over 30 ships fighting soon enough, which will be ridiculously cramped in a normal arena (try it).

How long does it take to capture a system?

Should we make it you have to hold for one turn?

EDIT: Also, do we need a destroyer or stronger ship to capture a system?

Cold War turn for Illumi Republic, Illumos

Initial fleet stationed at Illumos:
1 Outpost (Small Space Station, the free one)
1 Battleship
1 Destroyer
7 Frigates
14 Fighters

Fleet Movements:
1 Destroyer and 6 Fighters to Rho Eridani

HAILING ALL OTHER DIPLOMATIC ELEMENTS:
We seek to propose an alliance to any other civilisation for mutual benefit and cooperation in this upcoming conflict. We shall accept all those who are willing to join forces with us. We will not turn our backs on you in times of need, and we shall defend all jointly-held systems against all other external threats without reservation, as what we would do to our own. We only want peace, not eternal war which this situation would take us into.

To all parties who are willing to ally with us, you have seven days to respond to this transmission by way of another reply hail back to Illumi Fleet HQ, in orbit over Illumia, Illumos System. We shall transmit another message to you as confirmation of our response. At the end of these seven days all other civilisations who have not declared themselves as allies of Illumia will be automatically treated as neutral parties in this conflict. All others who have attacked Illumi-held or allied systems will be treated as hostile parties, which will be attacked by our forces in the event of a rendezvous.

Illumi Chancellor (and Supreme Commander of the Illumi Defence Force) Simal Eluum out.

That makes absolutely no sense at all.

Unless you need a destroyer to capture planets.

Intial fleet
1 small station- 0 points
3 Syndotis-battleships-12 points
4 Clown plecos- Destoryers- 8 points.

Ok my move, id like to send two Clown Plecos to gj1116 and two Clown Plecos to ltt 12352, this will take two turns to get there.

I would also like to send one Syndotis to lp73158.
