Swim with current, kill anything that looks like it gives lotsa DNA. Also, take a moment to gloat about how right I was about the evolutions. 33 DNA points the turn after evolving! We are the ultimate predator!

although the fact that 22 of those dna points came from eating plants kind of undermines the "predator" claim xD

One round's time has passed. As the previous update has taken two rounds, today's update is just a reminder of that fact.

Well... They're only plants because we already ate everything else. I sure hope we run into Species A soon, so we can eat the massive stockpile of corpses they have.

You Grab the glowing crystal from the lighthouse, and swim out into the current, your coat of fur protecting you from the shards of ice forming in and flying through the water. Fighting the current, you swim downhill, believing that this tunnel will lead to an exit eventually. The tunnel branches several times, the current becoming weaker each time, as it sucks water through more tunnels and caverns. Once a herd of dynamites passes by you, struggling against a sudden surge in the current, but you keep swimming.
Suddenly you emerge into what could be called the light of the outdoors, the sudden brightness combined with the light of the crystal you're carrying with your tentacle becoming overwhelming, causing you to drop the crystal. You notice first that you are surrounded by countless plants. More than were even in the Lighthouse's cavern. The light of the outdoors filters down through the leaves, leaving a green tint to all the light.
Strangely enough, only the tallest plants near you are green. There are enough purple and red plants around to be sort of scary. Speaking of scary, a small little cell, to which the name "speed midget" seems appropriate, has spotted you and swam away, leaving a bit of excess mass behind.
