This is probley my best ship yet.

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

This is probley my best ship yet.

Post by Saint Jamez911 »

When i first started, i saw all the blocky ships and thought they where ugly. Ive been told they can look good... I never listened. I thought an organic look would be nice, but curves and things didnt look good. So i have given a shot at the box ships. Grated this isnt the best out there, but of all my ships its my favorite. I havent set any weapons or changed any stats for now. I was acctualy looking for some ideas on the weapons and such.

Hey that looks nice, I'd like to see the parenting thought. talking about the weapons: Personally I am a total Blaster Fan but that one yellow section on the rear makes up a perfect place for a backwards facing beam.

I see a prime piece of real-estate for side facing missiles in that middle connector looking piece.

layering arror on the bakc yellow peice. Also this is a great improvement. it looks like a ship, but isn't really interesting. there are no visible things like reactors, engines, etc. and it doesn't really have any depth. it looks like a flat peice of paper painted in a way that it would look mildly like a ship. Also im not a fan of the colorscheme.

Oh come now. Scrap heap? That's more than a little harsh. It's imperfect, certainly, but hardly a scrap heap. Personally I like it, for the most part. There are some gaps in the nose cone and some oddities with part depth through it all that you might want to see to, though.
seriously Anna. seriously oh my gawd seriously.

:/

The colors need work, and there are large gaps, but is is much better than before. This is clearly a ship, unlike before.

There's no order to it. It's just sections chucked together so that there are no gaps in between. It's then called a ship. It needs some form.

Overlap and parenting error with the two little sections at the rear.

Engines don't look that good, try having thrusters or aegis for the engines.

Weapon placement is okay, but personally the drivers look out of place to me.
