Cyberdyne ShipYards

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Cyberdyne ShipYards

Post by Zako248 »

Hello everybody, I would like to say a few words and say that this game is one of the best games that I have ever played. I discovered this game a few months ago and I have decided that I should show you what I've done. I'm also going to use this thread as a place to show off every ship I make. I have learned from lurking here that you guys would like better that way.

Ok, now with that out of the way lets get on to the ships.

This is the first ship that I made. I made it when i was just getting the hang of the ship maker
Image

This is my first attempt a some kind of fleet. The two in the back are a pair of Exodus class crusiers ,which feature a pair of 1000 damage ageis blasters, but they have a 30 second reload. The other three are some Valiant class destroyers.
Image

This in my eyes is my first well designed ship, aside from the overpowered laser and all. I present the Anillus class city Destroyer.

Nods to Anna for the Lensing effect for this kind of weapon.

The Govenor class was a failure in almost all respects and was rapidly replaced by the far more powerful Sabertooth.

The Sabertooth Class Flagship is the first ship I made that might be able to match up with some of the ships normaly shown on this site.

Download the Sabertooth

That's all for now. Comments and critisim are welcome.

[EDIT] Never using Imageshack ever again!

These are pretty neat for starting ships.
However, what we normally show here is not quite what you'd expect, as I just learned that your Sabertooth fares pretty well against my smallest ship which is of similar size. :)

Some of us like to make really really really big ships bristling with firepower (See Anna's ships for the supreme firepower standard  )

He said himself he's wandered about the site for a while already, I'm sure he's seen the Titans that aren't ugly, like Seraph's ships (Of course I'll be mentioning you. 8) ) My larger ships aren't that bad looking and Talhydras's ships are really good looking.

imo its better that he start off building small detailed ships than large stretched ships. Sadly I can't get the pictures to open, only thumbnails, so I can't comment much except to say they look good from a distance but beware of overpowering. If your fighting these guy's heavy ships then its cool but at that size I would build something closer to stock. Still, it looks like you balanced them within the power level you want so good job. can't wait to see more, and larger isnt always better as long as its power is proportional to its scale.

Really! Could you send me a link to that ship so I can see.

Yeah, he's got some nice ships too. I'm going to probably make one on his scale soon (mabye).

I wish my first ships looked that good.

The first set of ships are really good for beginner ships and the supremacy is excellent. Keep it up! Oh yes, welcome to the community.

Here's another ship that I made over the weekend. It's my newest ship: The Ambassador. I made the Supremecy a few weeks ago.

Image

[EDIT] Uploaded version 2.0 which fixes a slight perenting error. Almost everything was parented to a peice that was infront of the core.
Although nearly everything is till perented to one piece I'm not telling you where that peice is.

Download Version 2 Here

It's quite a bit more powerful than any ship i've made so far (not counting the uber wank ships I've made).

Tell my what you think
