Noctis's work Currently Mechanist Fleet (clockwork)

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

I've tried black and near black beams, black ones don't show anything, and near black ones tend to turn an off-white when overlayed with lighter coloured beams.

My guess is that you did your Pulsar in a beam thing, right?

All good guesses but nopes. On the blue one I used nothing but shades of blue and the top one nothing but the normal colors (hint hint)

Look carefully at the glow of the top one. Thats where the secret lies.

One (or Two) Shockbeamer(s) is blue while another is red (or the default coloring for shockbeamers).

nopes. Here I'll just tell you

I made use of the fact that shockbeamers increase in size as they increase in damage. The top beam is 7 shock beamers overlayed, each having one of the colors of the rainbow, starting with red as the lowest damage and violet as the highest. You can see a slight rainbow like glow around it.

The other is the same thing but with shades of blue going from very nearly white to dark blue.

Well after leaning into the monitor screen, I see it now, somewhat. But I have a question; does this lag alot? Also may I request a copy of it?

For the hell of it, here's much the same thing with the colours reversed (as in red biggest, violet smallest), and using a series of larger and larger beamers.

Done by me about 5 months ago. In my opinion, yours looks better.

I did the same thing but thought it wasn't good enough looking.

It causes no noticeable lag for me, least none of the times I used it.

I'll post the strings when I finish the ship I'm using it on. Which should be soon

Ok here we are. New ship
Rasalhague the capital ship killer

You may think, thats pretty small for a capital ship killer. But Its weaponry and design are based solely on delivering a devastating frontal attack against a single opponent. Meaning that if you get behind it, or attack from multiple angles you're much more likely to win.

Now that is a little more worthy of the title of an advanced weapon mod...

...maybe. ;)

Thought it might be, but didn't feel like risking it. I'll post it there once I have a few good looking mutations

Ok, finally finished that weapon of mass destruction I was talking about.

Singularity

and yes, its a station that spins.

the damage it does is quite nice but I personally like it for how it looks while doing it.
