Yeah, you may want to tone some of these down just a little. Not even the Loyalty's (or was it the Allegiance?) 12000HP will help it against those guns for long.Spoot Knight wrote:And through this quote it shows what my ships in actuality are supposed to be balanced against...KOS- Abaddon wrote:Dude... holy shit. Those are freaking sweet. Just wait until the Apollyon fleet is overhauled!!! Then we'll see whos are stronger...
You'll need to know the weapon stats first before you do anything, these ships can obliterate anything we've made before with just one of their beam cannons.
Also, I think some of the gunshot colours are a bit too dark, and I'd suggest increasing the pauses between the railgun shots a little.

Something tells me it would have been a better idea to make the color brighter for reasons of getting suggestions...
Alright, I'm working some on the Constitution class Heavy Cruiser, however, I'm unsure as of what I should exactly do with the sides of the ship.

I don't want to leave the shape as it it because it won't give me enough room to give it sufficent firepower, I'm thinking of just adding some parts to fill towards the back, or I want to try making them, pod-ish I guess.
And whatever way it goes it's...going to have...more...weapons than what it's showing right now... Ooooh, I see a mirroring problem with an armor piece...two actually...

Constitution class heavy cruiser? Hmmm...NCC 1701?
Anyways, awesome ships, although I think the colorscheme is a wee tad too dark.

It's how I'm naming my ships, it's a little odd. You see my super classes have these cool sounding Dark Age stuff, the normal capital ship classes are going to have patriotic names, my small ships will have sword names and such.
Yes, I should have made it brighter, but I like the way it looks too much and I see the dark colors perfectly fine.

To hell with the kinetic missiles! Talk about his ships!
Less harsh: I personally feel it would be better if you discuss his ships, not use kinetic missiles to show how easily they can get torn apart.
Fine with you, 'Dude? And I'm not sure why you've said I've broken my promise: someone would have to tell gompasta that he was derailing anyway.

MC? Tone? Adjust? Plz?
Although the MC has, yet again, broken his promise, I must admit that I don't see the point of showing how someone else's ships get owned by yours in that guy's thread...[/dangerous tone]

ArcaneDude, I have to disagree with you. While MC was harsh, it's rude to post pictures of your own ships (or your own kinetic missiles) in someone else's thread, especially when they don't contribute anything to it.
Anyway, about the ships, they're awesome. My favourite is the Inquisitor, it's so buff looking, but also so sleek. Also, I don't think you should change the colour scheme, sure it's a bit dark and somewhat hard to see in shipmaker, but it looks great and is quite visible in game. Also, if anyone can't see them well, they can just turn up the brightness on their monitors.

I actually found (Just the general area, not the exact location) a spot on the Inquisitor that takes out a fairly large sized section off of the sides.KOS- Abaddon wrote:Those Kinetic missiles must be super rigged, because Spoots ships are VERY freaking hard to destroy. From what I've gathered, the hulls are damn near flawless... There aren't any obvious weakpoints in terms of parenting. The only way I've found to beat them is waiting for them to re-load...

Ok, the Constitution Heavy Cruiser is done, and the image of it along with a description of it's on the first page.
And download.
I just noticed some errors with the depth on some parts on the aft sections of the Constitution...glad I caught that...it's fixed now.
