I wish I could even make fighters, that's the one thing I'm missing on my fleet.

Shit. Fleet Terrion suddenly showed up near our superships hidden in stationary hyperspace and opened fire. The Excelion was forced to exit after taking heavy damage, and it's in the shipyard being repaired now. The Phased Cannon Array won't be firing for another few months though. The Archionis and Frontier did three hyperspace transitions to escape, and are now with us, also heavily damaged.

Seems like the people in the ships couldn't fire our gravity weapons though. Heard the ones on the old ships were sealed real tight with sensor-proof Seradium armour and FFI-locked (Friend or Foe Identification) so that they can't shoot our own ships. No one can get through the armour to reverse-engineer it, even if they shot it with a 10-megaton nuke or a hyper-concentrated laser. Well, at least we won't see our own weapons used against us. All pursuing ships were destroyed in a few concentrated shots by the Verizons, their cannon shells can get quite a big explosive radius if they all hit the same spot at the same time.

10 of these destroyer-class vessels are currently inside the Wyrmtech Industries shipyard. Almost the size of a Verizon, this ship packs a heck of a punch. It's got four dual Dark Matter Besieger Cannons, with the front and rear pairs souped up to deal higher damage, not taking the barrel size into account. It's 1.5 times as fast as the Verizon too, the shielding system's good, and so is the armour.

I'd say that the side beamers would look just fine attached to the section seventeens.

wow some of those people must have some funky shaped hardware... I like the concept of the side weapon mounts but its a bit stretched and boring compared to the rest of the ship. Maybe add more detail and it will work...

Changed the overall shape and added a few more weapons.

New ship classification in order from smallest to biggest, note that i opted for a little Homeworld-ish one:
- Fighter
- Corvette
- Frigate
- Cruiser
- Battlecruiser
- Carrier
- Destroyer
- Battleship
- Dreadnought
- Super Dreadnought

About the ship, I like it (the shape is fine), except for the side weapons, you should probably fix or remove them.

About the ship classification, shouldn't destroyer be smaller than cruiser, and battleship be bigger than battlcruiser? Also, shouldn't carrier fit in somewhere before, between, or after battlecruiser and battleship (in homeworld it's before). Everything else seems fine. My suggestions are using the homeworld ship classification, which is apparently what you based this on.

I would think Homeworld's system goes more like this:
Fighter / Bomber
Corvette
Frigate
Destroyer
Heavy Cruiser (What Cruiser? :lol: )
Carrier
Battlecruiser
Dreadnought

Particularly because the Battlecruiser and Dreadnought was made large to fit many weapon systems, and the Carrier is just as large as the Cruiser, but has the manufacturing facilities.

Using the Homeworld 2 system, modified a little. In there, the destroyer's almost the same size as the carrier. There's also a browser game where a battlecruiser is bigger than a battleship, soo......
