Bellcross Federation - Helicopters in space? Why not?

Lizzie's basically right about the new stuff. Don't start backsliding! It doesn't really fit with the style you've been using, and it's over weaponed. I really think you should make some more small ships in this style before you jump to big ones so quickly.
Office hours: 12:30-2:00 PST M-F, in #BSF.
I'm not too fond of the whole "let's stick guns on a bunch of section 26's," deal. Your weapons could really use some mounts, or possibly some more incorporation into existing hull lines.
The arcs on the ship aren't horrible, but it is rather odd that they bulge outward. Those large pieces that look like gun mounts (I forget what they are, maybe 23 or 24?) are simply too big to be part of curved areas, and it would probably look better if you replaced those with smaller pieces.

I had a feeling something like this would happen. =X
I just didn't feel inspired to make a smaller ship. Maybe I'll take a break off for a few days.

Those are some very nice ships there.
The Bakunawa-class battleship looks good, I like the arms that come out from the hull and rejoin it.

Curvy side pods FTW.
Not to be confused with the destroyed Space Station Amadeus, this Amadeus is a battleship-class upgrade of the Drake. Two side pods have been added, as well as a barrier system. The ship is also the second one so far to feature Autocannons, but the real terror enemies feel when they see this ship is the prow-mounted Gravity Blast Cannon. Capable of firing a beam that distorts gravity inside it to crush enemies, the beam is extremely deadly.
As you can see, Wyrmtech Industries specializes in gravity weapons.

Changed the side pods. Curviness x2!
Here's a close-up of the blue region.
It's made up of a lot of stacked sections, as you can see.

I took the striping to a new level and made an orbital graviton cannon with it. =D
The Slayer Orbital Graviton Cannon was recently finished in an orbital shipyard. This sword-shaped cannon measures approximately half the diameter of the moon in length, and was constructed using a powerful nano-replicated titanium composite that can take quite a beating. The cannon itself fires a beam of concentrated gravity at its targets, crushing them. Although not comparable to the power of the Dark Orion Cerberus's Ion Cannon, it is still very powerful. Secondary armaments include multiple Dark Matter Cannons, Siege Blasters and blaster cannons. The ship's point defense is regulated by two pointbeams that can recharge in under a second.

I agree with the comments about the wings, they look both awesome and dragonish. The stripes make a really cool effect, and look great, however the barrel looks like you ran out of enthusiasm when making in. I mean, a repeating bunch of outlined section 22s, lots of work there. Sure you put a shitload of work into the striping, but the barrel kind of ruins it. Fix that, and it will look great.
Did I mention I love the wings?

Eheh, it's my first time making wings like that. Originally I was gonna put them on a Drake, but I guess it looks better on the Slayer. I'll replicate them on some of the other ships in the future.
I'm not really sure what to replace those section 22s with...... =X
