Your blue is still too dark but less flaks have made it better. After the blue is fixed you can move on to the next step. Clean up your section usage. Look at new section usage guide. http://www.wyrdysm.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4222
Keep up the good work!

Section/Color Usage Guide (for new ship builders)
Another reminder to new ship builders: Please look at the Holy Ship gallery located in the Custom Ships section. Now lets get on to color. New ship builders seem to commonly make the mistake of eyeburn coloring. This occurs when bright sections are placed next to dark sections. Try starting with no ...

Ok. The ship at the stage it's at right now is bad but you can make it better. The ship might be slightly too skinny but that's not the main problem. The colors are plainly terrible. Try not to use more than three colors. Also don't put bright colored sections right next to dark sections. This cause...

Another project
I've decided to make another ship after my short break. It has a shiny glow that goes across the ship but I didn't feel like making an animated picture so it isn't shown. I also decided to try that fancy blueprint thing for fun. http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/1199/bfscreen00.png http://img13.ima...

I don't consider this as one of my best ships. He is in the Junk folder I made for ships not so impresiv so here it is... Well, actually I consider this to be your best ship. The section work on this ship is pretty good. Less detail as stated above would be good. Perhaps you should delete the Nano M...

Ooh. I see you've used one of my sections. Thanks! :D The carrier looks pretty good. The fake aegis look good for once! Yay! Some of the section usage bothers me. Mostly the Bsf_stock05's in the middle to the left. It stands out too much. Otherwise it's pretty good. Perhaps add a little bit more blu...

First rule: Don't EVER use plain white fake aegis. Avoid even if you change its color. Your weapons look a bit spammed. Conceal some under your sections. Your feathers look too flimsy compared to the rest of the ship. They look like they would snap right off. Your sections usage isn't horrible but c...

I normally like ships with gray in them for a few reasons. -It normally looks better. -I think it is more realistic. -And the answer to your first question. It makes adding weapons without re-coloring a lot easier. If you don't want to add gray, however, putting weapons under sections and on top of ...
