Xian Fleet - Nalacetus, Squalodon, and Cetotherium

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Xian Fleet - Nalacetus, Squalodon, and Cetotherium

Post by 12Ghost12 »

When finished, this will be my second fleet. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

So far I have one completed ship, one to colour and one to arm and colour.

Nalacetus
Image
The Nalacetus is an extremely fast patrol craft armed with four pulsed plasma chambers. The ship has an important role in the fleet, engaging other patrol craft and harrassing battleships, frigates, and destroyers.

Squalodon
Image
The Squalodon is a frigate designed to flank enemy ships and pound them with its impressive frontal firepower of two blasters and a boosted Gatling blaster. It has two rear-mounted pulsed plasma chambers, but lacks the particle guns of larger Xian craft.

Cetotherium
Image
The Cetotherium destroyer can fire withering broadsides of four blaster shots. It is also armed with the standard four pulsed plasma chambers and a frontal railgun. The destroyer has two particle guns for defense.

Tiktaalik
Image
A medium cruiser designed to put out firepower on all sides. It is armed with two tachyonic triwave emitters, four pulsed plasma chambers, four blasters, and one Gatling blaster. For defense it has three particle guns.

I'll put up a download when the whole fleet is finished.

I would say rather forward, or just leave it there. It's really a nice ship the way it is. You modded any weapons, and if yes, care for a combat shot?

Update: Nalacetus, Squalodon, and Megatherium.
You modded any weapons, and if yes, care for a combat shot?
I upped the damage of the blasters and Gatling blasters (to 20) and changed their colour. The Drivers fire three shots in quick succession, have changed colours, and a reload time of 3 seconds (90 frames). The Particle guns have changed colours.
