Some new Battlefleet Gothic fleets

Archives for ships and fleets. 'nuff said. Most of the ships here are very very old and will not work in current versions of BSF or SM. You have been warned!

Some new Battlefleet Gothic fleets

Post by Mike »

Hi everyone.

I'm a noob, so they probably don't meet your normal standards of quality, but here is my attempt at partially reproducing the fleets from the Warhammer 40,000 game Battlefleet Gothic.

"Battlefleet Gothic Forever" fleet pack

And here's fleet-list images so you can know what all those names mean. :) These images are also included in the .zip. (along with a few "guide" jpgs intended for people not familiar with BSF)

I'm afraid I had to invent my own naming convention for the ships below

I also took a liberty with the naming of the Tyranid drones

Feel free to criticise, just don't expect me to pay any attention to it. ;)

Variety......Check
Color-shemes.....Half-Check
Sheer number of ships.....Check plus
Style...... Check

Good ships over all. Just need a little color variation. other than that really good.

Yeah... er... because you can colour your own fleet, I didn't realise there was a way to colour the ship pieces themselves until quite late in the proccess.. and I still don't really understand how you do it. So that's why there's no colour variation ^^'

If it's easy and someone explains how maybe I'll go back and colour them.

Wow I must applaud your efforts. Must have taken forever to make. Good job over all, although I have seen more truthful interpretations of the ships.

Sometimes it takes me all day to make one good ship, but this............this.......amazing...... :D

Might not be the most detailed ships out there, but the sheer numbers..........(DeathsHand gives Mike the hope diamond and the keys to san francisco[he can have it ])

I don't know much what they look like either, except for a Space Marine Battle Barge... they look pretty sweet, though.

You shoulda made the Battle Barge more detailed.
And I'm one of teh few people who could care less for color, so I think the colors look good. :}

I have nothing to say but Pure Awesome. Well that and, that must have taken you ages, the ships look great, sure they don't have too many colours or to much detail, but they simply look really good. Also, well done with the font choices, they're very good.

THAT...IS ONE OF THE BEST UNDERSTATEMENTS I'VE EVER SEEN.

Good job, man. You are arguably one of the best new ship designers I've seen in my span on the forums.

My god. Finally, a 40k-based fleet (or... eight?) that isn't completely wanktastic!
